Wife Left Bad Note on Calendar the Day She Killed Her Husband: Report

A woman in the United Kingdom initially said her husband died when he “slipped” on a kitchen knife. However, he is now on trial for murder after authorities found a sinister note he wrote in his calendar the day he died.

“It’s got a ‘bye bye’ and it’s got two kisses, and it’s got a heart,” Daryl Berman testified about a note he wrote in his calendar during the hearing on Monday, December 15, according to the newspaper Manchester Evening News. “I put it on at the end of the day when everyone had left and I was ready to go to bed.”

When Daryl’s husband, David BermanHe died in March, and it was thought to be an accident. But his death was later investigated and authorities ordered an autopsy.

During the trial, Daryl, 71, said he slept with David “at least four times” as he waited for his body to be exhumed, according to the report. Manchester Evening News. “I kissed her and stroked her arm. I did it a few times,” he added.

While speaking with investigators, Daryl allegedly told police that he was eating a chicken salad sandwich and had a knife in the food tray when David said he was going to bring him a tray from the kitchen. “It was like tripping or slipping,” Daryl recalled in court. “Then I heard another sound and it seemed like he was moaning, I jumped up and shouted and ran inside.

Daryl told the police that David was making a “groaning” noise after the alleged fall, adding that there was “tons of blood.”

“I looked down, I shook his head a little, and I thought ‘what in the world is this broth? “It was a lot of blood, I have never seen anything like this in my life.

Daryl then called the police, where the dispatcher spoke to him about providing “features.

When Daryl admits that he wrote the horrible note, the Evening News reported that she denied killing her husband during the trial in court on December 15.

Last week, the local medical examiner Dr. Philip Lumb – who examined David’s body – during the trial said that what Daryl said about the victim falling on the knife was “impossible.” The medical examiner pointed to the stab wound, and a “defensive injury” found on his finger, as evidence that he did not fall on the knife.

“I think in broad terms, if we look at the general population, accidental stab wounds are very rare,” said Lumb, of the store. “I myself have never received one.”

When Daryl was on trial for murder, the police had not revealed the suspect’s motive.

The trial is still ongoing, and the verdict has not yet been released.
