Who is Adelita Grijalva, and what should she do with the epsterin files?

[ad_1]

The US House of Representatives was scheduled to meet Friday to find a time to open the Pro forma law during the three-week government shutdown, and Democrats said there was a pressing piece of business – the swearing in of Adelita Gijalva.

Grijalva, of Arizona, won a special election more than three weeks ago, but he has yet to take the oath of office.

Who is Adelita Gijelva?

A native of Arizona, he served as a youth court director in Pima country and served on local school board and political boards. Grijalva, 54, is married with three children.

Grijalva made the political Leap to continue in the Arizona 7th Remistral District, which was left unaccounted for by the cancer death of his father, Raul, who had served in Congress for more than 20 years.

He won a special election held on September 23 in the district, receiving 69 percent of the vote over his Republican opponent.

Why is he not read?

There has been a partial government shutdown since Oct. 1

Some Democrats accused the Louisiana speaker of changing his stance, after he said earlier this month, “We’ll organize, I think, whenever he wants.”

“I’m happy to administer the oath of office to him, as soon as we get back to the rule of law,” Johnson told CNBC on Thursday, accusing Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer on the government shutdown.

The day before, Johnson was fired by Democrats with a Democratic and Liberal News Talk Show hout for comments about Gijalva that were seen as a backstab.

Johnson told Fox News. “Bless his heart. “He is an Elect Oremit. He doesn’t know how things work here.”

To answer

In a letter released the previous day, Hakeem Jeffries, the leader of the Democratic House Minor, demanded that Johnson swear in Grijalva on Friday.

“The continued refusal to stay Adelita Grijalva Elect for Partisan profit undermines the integrity of the institution.”

Jeffries said the situation is completely different when Florida Republicans recently had a special election.

“In April, Republican representatives Jimmy Patronis and Randy Fine were sworn in during a pro forma period of less than 24 hours,” Jeffries wrote. “The decision to seat the republicans on pills with a report at record speed, while denying the newly elected democratic will the chance to be served, is an unacceptable disgrace.”

Johnson said last week that these conditions were different from the bath and good, because they had planned for family and friends to be in Washington, DC, but then the house was not going out because of that day.

“Like making fun of them and their families, we went on and on swearing in an empty room. It wasn’t fun.

Most Democrats showed up at Johnson’s office earlier this week and chanted, “accept him!”

Also, several stood by Grijalva’s side on the steps of Capitol Hill as he pleaded guilty.

“All the reasons that have ever changed … the only thing that has changed all the time is speaker John Johnson’s coverage of pedophiles,” Arizona Sen.run Gallego.

A few Republicans also agreed with Johnson’s strategy.

“He won his election. He is a duly elected member of Congress. He should be sworn in,” California Rep. Kevin Kevin Key told reporters on Tuesday.

In a letter this week, General Conform Kris Makeses may have threatened Johnson with legal action against Grijalva. About 813,000 Arizonans are being denied representation because of the delay, May said.

“You and your staff have provided endless, unsatisfying, and sometimes absurd stories as to why Ms. Grijalva was not sworn in,” the democrat wrote.

Like Jeffries, the sets raised the examples of representatives of Florida, but also Vince Fong in California, James Walkinshaw in Virginia and CeleSte Maloy in Utah, who were elected by their special election.

Jeffries on Friday also said that he expects legal action “Swift” if his Friday request does not appear.

Epsterin factor

Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky has been gathering signatures on a petition to trigger votes to force the release of Empstein’s files, angering and his party’s leadership in the process.

Grijalva said he would sign the recall petition if he took office, likely giving the masses the 218 signatures needed to vote.

Democrats say Johnson is stepping down because he wants a vote related to any vote related to Epstein, as the saga has taken the Trump administration by storm for several months.

“This is the only thing that I can point to that separates other people who were recently sworn in from their stuff,” Grijelva said Wednesday in an interview on MSNBC.

Epsterin’s death in prison in August 2019 was officially ruled a suicide, although its circumstances and financial associations with top men of Clintod, former President of Microsoft Bill Clinton and podcast podcast hosts.

FBI Director Kash Patel grilled over handling of Epstein files

FBI Director Kash Patel told the US Senate Panel on Tuesday that there was no credible information that Jeffrey Epsterin prosecuted women and girls under anyone. House lawmakers pressured Patel into handling the Epsterin files following the Justice Department’s July decision not to release more material.

Epsterin was granted a leniency in 2008 in Florida that allowed him to plead guilty to soliciting prostitution but face federal charges. He was indicted on charges of child trafficking in New York less than a month before his death.

When a private citizen appeared on the podcast, Kash Patel accused federal officials of a sweep in the Epstein case “because of that list.” Since FBI Director, Patel has supported such explosive claims while defending the agency’s handling of the case.

At that time, Attorney General Pam Bondi in February appeared to find out what the administration would do about the case, which did not participate.

Democrats believe the administration is Stonewalling because of uncomfortable questions from Trump, who has offered shifting explanations for why his friendship with Epsterlong ended.

Johnson, who is among some Republicans questioning the authenticity of the decades-old birth certificate sent to Exstein, denied the delay in swearing in Adelita Gijalva was related to making the request.

The other three Republicans who ended up coming from Rep. Massie has agreed to sign the Decurition petition, including Georgia Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who told the news last week that he received the effort.

The motivation of the Republicans in voting to release the Epsterin files may have been to find any top men they saw who were seen as financial, and by extension, the democratic party. Part of the Republican Party’s funding has been consumed over the last decade by conspiracy theories

Last month, Massie shared a social media post in which the official ranks of the Department of Justice were not included. During the hearing of the festival committee last month, Massie also said that the list of possible clients of Epsterin included “at least six billion, including a Billionaire from Canada,” without specifying.
