I Stranger Things the series finale left many fans (myself included) disappointed because of all the different questions that weren’t completely answered. It got so bad that even the fans of the show had to ask why this once epic show continues to drop the ball when it comes to interesting stories.
In a recent interview, however, the Duffer Brothers accidentally mentioned the silent part and confirmed that they left out certain elements. Stranger Things undefined for future testing.
The Biggest Unanswered Question in the Unknown
While i Stranger Things The ending left viewers with many questions (including why there were no Demogorgons protecting Vecna and why the Mind Flayer ended up pushing it so hard), there was one question that annoyed everyone: what was the glowing rock in the bag in those caves? Suddenly, we see Henry Creel kill the scientist holding the bag; after that, the stone turns into particles that enter the gunshot wound in his hand, taking him to the abyss and setting in motion a chain of events that would transform young Henry into the terrifying Vecna.
All well and good, but flashback in the Stranger Things the last of the series does not explain what this big rock is. It could be a piece of Mindflayer, or it could be a key to another feature. Heck, it might be some kind of psychic stone because it’s not clear if Henry was transported physically or mentally to the Abyss. Unfortunately, the Duffer Brothers confirmed in a recent Variety interview that the definitive answer to this burning fan question will be answered in the future. Stranger Things a spinoff.
Fans Will Have To Watch The Spinoff For Answers
According to Matt Duffer, “The spinoff will go into that and explain that, and you’ll understand.” He emphasized that the new show will be a “completely different tale” rather than “an in-depth exploration of Mind Flayer or something like that.” However, he confirmed that the future spinoff will “answer some of the remaining threads.”
I am very disappointed Stranger Things It’s season 5 from the beginning, and I was surprised to see that the show wrapped up many of those “loose threads” mentioned above. Since the series became a hit, this popular Netflix show has been stretching its mysteries for nearly a decade. In fact, millions of fans have been waiting for satisfactory answers. Not only did the final season fail to provide answers to many questions, but Stranger Things the creators have now confirmed that they didn’t bother to give some answers because they saved it for future endings.
Lazy Writing: Even Scarier Than Vecna
Even if you like Stranger Things and worship the Duffers, you have to admit this is lazy writing. First, these runners hid most of Vecna’s backstory from the official game (Stranger Things: The First Shadow) many fans will never be able to see, then use the program to contradict the playlist; in The First Shadow, Creel is sent to the Abyss with stolen technology, but in the show, it’s a magic rock. Now, fans have gone from not being able to understand the history of Vecna without watching the game to not being able to understand the retcon of the show without watching the later spinoff!
If there wasn’t a spinoff on the horizon, we’d get more answers and a better ending, and that’s the problem: at some point, the Duffers became more interested in building an ongoing franchise than just telling a good story. Unfortunately, they never thought they were killing their golden goose. Why any Stranger Things fans watch the upcoming finale knowing that the new show will also be lazily written and full of half-baked mysteries that require us to watch multiple spinoffs to finally get the answers? If that’s what it came down to, the plain truth is Stranger Things it should have just ended after season 1.
