The British influencer has apologized for lying to her friends about getting cancer years ago, and said she was in a “dark place” at the time.

Brittany Miller, 29, admitted to lying in a video posted on Tiktok on Monday, one week after the UK “Hero” landed

A source close to Miller told the publication that many of his fans “will have family members living with cancer, but they know that every time they watch one of his videos,

Now, Miller has broken his silence on his past in his apology story, which has more than 10 million views as of Wednesday.

“Back in 2017, I had a very bad mental health and at the time, I didn’t know how bad it was, but it’s bad,” said the 3.5 million Tiktok millionaire.

“I was depressed, I was suicidal, I was lost, I was confused, I was going to lose my partner, I was going to lose my job, and there were many things that year that led to my mental illness.”

“I said something to someone in a close circle, in confidence, one stupid sentence that I deeply regret,” Miller continued. “I said I was sick, which was cancer.”

The mother of two said she “didn’t do this with malicious intent, or to rip people off.”

“I did this out of desperation. I did it so that people would be close to me, so that people could live my life around me,” she said. “I don’t condone it. I understand why I did it and I’ve learned from my mistakes.”

Miller said it was not “a run-of-the-mill scam or a bogus story as it has been made out to be.”

“The people I spoke to told a few others and there was a fundraiser page set up for me, which I knew about.

“I forgive myself because I was mentally ill and I apologize profusely to anyone who offended me or caused me to say what I said,” she said.

Miller wanted to make it clear to his fans that this incident happened years before he was in the media, so he didn’t do it “just to do it.”

“I know how scary this disease is, and I know how much it affects people, so just because I am, I’m sorry,” Miller said.

Miller assured his fans that he’s “done it again mentally” and is proud of how far he’s come.

“If I could go back and change what I did, I would do it in a heartbeat. It was one stupid sentence we heard about ten years ago, and I learned a lot from it,” Miller said.

He credited his fiancé, Ash Griffiths, for helping him get to a better place and called him “the light at the end of the tunnel.”

“You’ve helped me be sane and forgiving…. I’m here because I want to be a mental health advocate,” Miller said. “I want to help people, because I know what it’s like to be in a dark, dark place.”

Miller ended his video by saying how grateful he was to all the people who supported him and added, “I really, really love you, so much.”

Miller is not the first winner to have lied about having cancer.

Belle Gibson, an Australian cookbook author, built a public profile in 2013 around her claim through her book, Instagram and Facebook that she was diagnosed with brain cancer as a 20-year-old and was given four months to live.

He revealed that he refused the usual cancer treatment which happened to be accepted in order to heal naturally and he falsely said that he was beating cancer with a healthy diet.

With the media questioning his many claims, he admitted in 2015 that he never had cancer.

Gibson was fined by a court in 2017 for misleading consumers by lying about his charitable donations.

A judge ruled in March 2017 that Gibson’s claims to donate money from the sale of The whole pantry And the application relates to conduct that is not specified under Australian consumer law. The book and application have been withdrawn.

Federal Court Judge Debra Mornimer ordered Gibson to pay a sum of AU$410,000 (about c
