Trump tosses beef, coffee, tropical fruit prices amid consumer concerns – nationwide

US President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order Friday to remove tariffs on a wide swath of goods, including beef, coffee and tropical fruits. It’s part of a response to pressure from consumers who are clamoring for higher prices.

The move comes after polls a year earlier earlier this month identified economic concerns as their top issue, leading to big wins for Democrats in Virginia and New Jersey.

The President signed an executive order after announcing that the US has reached agreements with the Governments of Guatemala, El Salvador and Argentina designed to reduce agricultural taxes produced in those countries.

High beef prices have been a concern, and Trump has said he intends to take action to try to lower them. Trump’s tariffs on Brazil, the Major BEEF PREENCROVER, have been a thing.

Trump suggested earlier this week that he would lower coffee prices to help boost imports.

The amendments do not apply to Trump’s Crown, Orhle

Those costs, along with the “Revicing” Global tariffs, are at risk of being struck down by the US Supreme Court, which is expected to rule later this year focusing on the tariffs.

Trump said it would be “harmful” to the US economy if the Supreme Court ruled against him in the case.
