Trump-Justified by Capitol Coolir charged with threatening to kill Democrat Hakem Jeffries

The forgotten man allegedly removed from the US Capitol by President Donald Trump’s Mass Phorhons has been arrested on charges of reporting threats to kill the minority leader of HAkeEM Jeffries.

Christopher P. Moynihan is accused of sending a text message Friday noting that Jeffries, a New York Democrat, would be giving a speech in New York City this week.

“I cannot allow this terrorist to live,” said Moynihan, according to a report by the State Police investigator. Moynihan also wrote that Jeffries “must be removed.”

“I’m going to kill him tomorrow,” he texted, according to the police report.

Moynihan, of Clinton, Ny, is charged with a felony count of making a fugitive threat. It is not clear if he has an attorney to represent him in this matter, and attempts by the Associated Press to contact him and his parents by email and phone were unsuccessful.

Moynihan is among hundreds pardoned by Trump

The 34-year-old was sentenced to 21 months in prison for joining Jan Capitol in the US. In January, he was among hundreds of Capitol protesters who received a pardon from Trump on the first day of the Republican presidency.

Jeffries thanked investigators for their “quick and decisive action in apprehending a dangerous individual who made a death threat that was credible to me with every intention of carrying it out.”

“Unfortunately, unfortunately, our brave men in law enforcement are being forced to spend their time keeping our communities safe from these unforgivable violent people,” Jeffries said in a statement.

House Speaker Mike Johnson was asked about the case during a press conference on Tuesday and said he did not know the details of the threat against Jeffries.

“We invite violence against anyone, at any time. Those people should be arrested and tried,” said Johnson, Louisiana Republic.

New York State Police said they were notified of the threat by the FBI on Saturday. Moynihan was arraigned Sunday in New York’s Dutchess County District Court. He was back in the city of Clinton on Thursday.

Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi said his office is reviewing the case “for legality and that fact.”

“Threats made against elected officials and members of the public will not be tolerated,” Parisi said in a statement on Tuesday.

Moynihan’s engagement on Jan. 6, 2021 Attack

On Jan. 6, Moynihan broke through police barriers before entering the Capitol through the rotunda door. He entered the Senate Chamber, targeted the senator’s desk and joined other protesters in announcing and attacking the Senate dais, prosecutors said.

“Moynihan did not leave the senate chamber until he was forced to by the police,” they wrote.

In 2022, US District Judge Christopher Cooper condemned Moynihan’s Jan. Moynihan also pleaded guilty to five counts of violence.
