The big night of the internet is here.
The first ever US TikTok Awards kicked off on Thursday, December 18, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The event – broadcast live on TikTok and official streaming partner Tubi – brings together an audience of hundreds of creators, with a red carpet and screens under the theme “New Era, New Icons.”
Ahead of the awards show, fans were able to vote for their favorite creators — in categories such as “Kungile Slay Award” and “Instantly Added to Cart” — on the TikTok Awards in-app hub.
Influencers Alix Earle, Adam W, Brooke Monk, Keith Lee again Kristy Sarah all compete for the title of Creator of the Year. AA-listers and athletes alike – included Coco Gauff, Paris Hilton again Shay Mitchell – are also up for Muse of the Year.
Tan Francewho presented at the TikTok Awards, shared on Instagram that the categories celebrate content creators and moments that “really shaped culture.”
