The perfect Halloween movie proves physical media is still worth owning

Here’s an admission that will get me out of any esteemed NERD group: I’m serious, – it’s cool choose digital media over physical media.

That means I stream movies and TV shows rather than using physical media, but I do except for one year on Halloween. This is where I issue Rocky Horror Photo Show Blu-ray, a disc full of immersive digital extras that streaming just can’t offer.

Divided by feeling

By nature, I am one of those people who enjoy going A picture with scary stones Shadow Cast performance. If you’ve never had the pleasure, this is a play where the movie is broadcast on the screen while lip-syncing cosplay is performed and they usually re-present the movie on stage. At that point (in a tradition that goes back to the film’s days as the original movie of the two), those of us in the audience shout out certain words and phrases at key moments during the production, effectively turning the thing off into an active experience.

To an outsider, all of this may seem very silly. Unfortunately, if you’re too busy to go to Shadow Cast work or don’t have one to play at your place, it’s almost impossible to replicate this experience at home.

No guess points, but that’s where Blu-ray comes in. Of course, I could always broadcast A picture with scary stones (currently playing on HLU) just watch out The movie, but streaming doesn’t offer any of the extra features found in physical media. Fortunately, the And stones The Blu-ray disc I have, which is one that stays in my player for a year (no, really), allows me to relive the Shadow Cat Cast experience without leaving the house.

For my purpose, the most important feature is the one that offers a picture mode where (as you can get a real, live show) Shadow Cast amplifies the movie while the main movie plays behind the players. You can also switch to a mode where some of the known audiences appear as text pop-ups. Finally, there is even an active feature where you can throw Virtual Pumps on the screen, just like the audience for these live shows.

Let’s do the time warp again!

Obviously, this home experience can’t be denied as going to a real shadow practice, especially for someone like me. However, this experience is leaps and bounds better than just looking at the view A picture with scary stones in broadcasting. And it helps me tap into a certain strong nostalgia…that is, my memories of going to countless shadows

This is not the only way to hear Rocky Horror Photo Show Shadow Cast Glory. For example, the previous version of the DVD has audio for real participation, which is more focused than my beloved pop-ups. But whatever I choose to internalize, one fact remains clear: The works provide the most definitive way to experience the classic classic cinema for half a century.

Spread it, that’s it

Every spooky season, this serves as a reminder to me, “digital is the best” guy, that there are experiences that just streaming can just give. And a reminder that, despite my digital editing, it’s still important to go out and buy film discs and show that I love the best. Without a growing media market, we would lose some of the best multimedia of the past two centuries.
