Apparently nostalgic for the champagne, airplane hats and bright glamor that seemed to be seen in the sky in the 1950s and ’60s, Transport Secretary Sean Duffy urged air passengers to dress well for the best travel week.
“Do you dress respectfully?” He asked in an online video. “Do you mean thank you and thank you?”
To do so, Duffy suggested, can help usher in the “new age” – a phrase that goes back to the aviation of the 20th century. This video was part of the Ministry of Transport’s “Community Campaign” which aims to cultivate him in the fight and behavior of unruly passengers.

Cabin Service dominated industry business models until the late 1970s, when Congress passed Airline Deregulation Act of 1978ending Federal control over airlines, routes and market access. This Bill went through a heated period of competition and market integration.
