Quentin Tarantino was first announced in 2012, when he was doing press Django is not wanted, He only plans to write and direct 10 films before retiring from filmmaking as a way out. Since then, I’ve been a little fired up about the rest of his work. Until then, I had seen all the entries. When we made that announcement, I fell for a while because I only have a few lives to live, and I want to have fun like works of cinematic art. I finally settled down in 2015 The hateful eightTarantino’s eighth film, and so far my favorite out of his entire catalog.

I hate long movies. I absolutely despise them. In most cases, I feel like feature films can be something that doesn’t retell a rough version of the same story within 90 to 120 minutes. That’s not the case The hateful eightWhich clocks in at 168 minutes, just shy of three hours. There is zero fat in this movie, and the tension comes from its fast pace.

I finally got to the end and looked Once upon a time in HollywoodI am happy to admit that I will be back again and again The hateful eight A few moments before moving forward with Faltantino’s Philography while we are all waiting for his tenth and last film to watch and see the proper release.

These eight people are so hateful that ‘hate!

Today’s classic whofunit in every sense of the Word, The hateful eight Centers on a group of the worst people you’ll ever meet stuck in a claustrophobic comedy starring John Carpenator Something. Hed Up in the kitchen on the way to Red Rock, Wyoming Place, introduced that Bounty Hunter Marquis Warren (Samuel L. Jackson), Sherifth Chris Sonke), Sheriff Chris BOB (Señor Bichir (Demián BiChir), Oswaldo (Thim Roth), Joe Gage (Michael Madsen), and General Sanford “Sandy” Smithers (Bruce Dern), otherwise known as “The Confederate.”

If you haven’t seen it yet The hateful eightThe less you know about its structure, the better. It’s not very controversial, so there’s no reason for me to spoil anything here. All you need to know is that these eight people take refuge from an innocent blizzard in Minnie’s Haberdasherry on the way to red rock. They all know each other in the sense that they know they are famous for each other, but they have to rely on the village to decide who is telling the truth. As we talk about bounty hunters, hangmen, stonewalling, or villains, it quickly becomes clear that much of the hatred relies on the discovery of deception and survival in post-war America.

Deception as a means of survival

Knowing full well that a black man lives in the wild West of the White West, and knowing Minnie himself, the Marquis immediately suspects her absence and begins to realize that something is missing. To make matters worse for Warren, John Ruth manages to get in over his head, but the two reach a temporary union during their stachecoach ride at the Haberdashery. When the storm rages and the fire roars, things seem fine at first for the hateful eight, but it doesn’t take long for paranoia to set in as each person begins to reveal their true nature.

Shrinking is used as a means of communication, guns are pulled, coffee is poisoned, bounties are contested, and finally, we get everyone’s momentum as they slowly open up in the name of wounds. It’s a tense build-up that reaches the kind of extreme violence you wouldn’t expect in a Quentin Tarantino film. No one is who they say they are, and when the truth finally comes out, things quickly turn ugly.

Wide shot and highlights

Shaking obvious similarities in Something In the western world, The hateful eight He is suggested by Tarantino’s decision to shoot using Ultra Panavision 70 with restored lenses and kodak Vision3 Film Stock in 2.76:1 Aspect Ratio. Enhancing another experience is Ennio Morricone’s score, his first western soundtrack in 34 years, and featuring three unused tracks from his career Something: “Forever,” “Animal Sorrow,” and “Despair.” As the film already reflects the tone and paranoia of the ice cream masterpiece, the inclusion of Moriricone’s music is the perfect finishing touch.

As far as I know, The hateful eight Get every minute of its running time because it’s well shot and nothing but unnecessary filler. Its setting and character work need time to breathe for the story to hit as hard as it does. The tension is what makes this film such a rewarding mystery to sink your teeth into. It’s meant to make you uncomfortable and uneasy, yet tarantino’s sense of humor forces you to laugh at the worst moments because no one turns bad violence into dark comedy better than he does.

The hateful eight is currently streaming on Netflix.
