The Green Bay Packers lost to the Bears in overtime after Jordan Love was injured

Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love left the Packers’ game Saturday night against Chicago after taking a hard hit in the second quarter, and was ejected after halftime.

The Bears would go on to win the game in overtime on a 46-yard touchdown run by DJ Moore.

Love’s injury occurred in the second quarter when he took the helmet of Bears defensive lineman Austin Booker on a sack. Booker was flagged for roughing the passer.

Love was down after the game and couldn’t get up on his own.

The quarterback ended up running off the field into the green tent on the Green Bay sideline. Then he went to the guest locker room.

Malik Willis came on for Green Bay and drove the Packers to Brandon McManus’ 22-yard field goal and a 6-0 lead.

To make things difficult for the Packers, their sideline heaters did not work for most of the game, according to Fox Sports.

Willis gave the Packers a chance to win, completing nine of 11 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown, while rushing for 44.

The Packers seemed to be in control of the game late in the fourth quarter when they led 16-6 with less than six minutes left in the game. A quick Bears field goal followed by a successful onside kick recovery and Caleb Williams’ fourth down touchdown pass tied the game.

In overtime, the Packers got the ball on first down, but failed to pick up a fourth and short in Bears territory.

Then, Williams unleashed a game-winning 46-yard bomb to Moore on their fourth play of overtime.

With the win, the Bears cemented their spot in first place in the NFC North, and have a real shot at the NFC’s top seed with two games left in the season.
