Defense Tech Billionaire and Anduril Founder Palmer Luckey shared with Podcast Host Joe Rogan that when he was young he wrote a book against Donald Trump.
“I don’t know if this exists, but I was actually one of the true ogs of trump,” Lucekey told Rogan on Thursday, using the econyrany definition of “original gangster.” “I wrote a letter to Donald Trump telling him he should run for President.”
Luckey, 33, vividly recalled why he believed Trump would be a strong choice.
“So I mean this way is back. This is like back in 2009, 2010 Well it’s not part of that.'”

Luckey told Rogan that people often think he started supporting Trump in 2016 because he wished he would have known that kind of rhetoric years earlier, even in 2009.
“But it wasn’t even that low,” Rogan said, recalling an era of political moderation.
“Not really,” Lucekey agreed.
Luckey and Rogan recall how inappropriate the Truchas used to be for important issues, such as when they spoke to Oprah Winfrey in the 1980s.

Luckey recalled how surprised he was at the time when friends would say Trump was a ‘Darwing.’
“How can you be a furmonger when a guy says we need to stop fighting these wars, get out of this country, get our boots back in Russia, China, or some other country we shouldn’t be in?” he asked.
