The former the kidnapped twins said in the first video message

The twin kidnappers of GALI and Ziv Berman published their first video statement since they were released from exile in the Gaza strip shortly before their release from the Medical Center.

The released hostages, guard and Ziv Berman, sent a video message on their social media on Saturday evening, making it their social media outlet since the deportation on Monday.

In this video, which was recorded at the Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hahomer, shortly before the couple was discharged from the hospital, the twins thanked the general public for their support, the medical authorities, and the IDF soldiers who fought at home.

“To our wonderful people, just before we were released from the hospital, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to our family, friends, and everyone who was still with us from afar,” the video said.

“Thank you so much for being our mother, for supporting him. We heard him every second, even in the dark, and gave him the strength to carry on.”

Gali and Zivi are twins from Kibbutz Kfar Aza. Both were kidnapped from the Kibbutz on October 7, 2023, when Hamas terrorists killed 64 and captured many others.

“Don’t forget, we are one people, and we have nowhere to go,” it added.

The brothers also confirmed that their health is strong. They confirmed, saying: “We are alive. “The recovery process is waiting for us, but we successfully transferred the medical test to Sheba. I am very grateful to the whole team for their dedicated care, patience and open hearts.”

At the end of the video, they added with a smile, “and in this way, we know that you are a little closer to us. I am Zivi (pointing to him), and the thing is my brother (showing that we are both here, at home.”
