Avenuweather meteorologists continue to watch for more storms to affect the US, both of which will have effects on the east coast in the week. Meanwhile, Hurricane Melissa continues to lash the Caribbean, bringing catastrophic impacts to the region before tracking Northeast across the Bahamas.
The combination will lead to another round of heavy surf and coastal flooding on the East Coast from the last days of October into November.
Melissa will travel through the bahamas while the storm moves across the southeast and out to sea
After the Western Caribbean tracks, which brought catastrophic floods and destructive winds to parts of the region, it will pass through the Bahamas in a mountain before entering the western Atlantic. Melissa is expected to approach Bermuda, bringing rain impacts and wind impacts to the Island early in the week.

At the same time, the storm that brought heavy rain and bad weather to parts of the plains and the gulf coast will move across the southeast before moving to the original sea before moving to the sea of veni.

The combination of the storm moving offshore with Melissa tracking the Bahamas and the western Atlantic towards Bermuda will bring coastal hazards across much of the southeast and central coasts.

Residents near the coast should prepare for coastal flooding and beach erosion due to ongoing onshore and surf disturbances from Melissa. Those who work in crafts or small ships or ships are urged to use caution in the week and look for strategies to change due to dangerous seas.
A strong storm taking shape across the Central, Eastern US

A dip in the jet stream will promote a cooler pattern across the eastern third of the US in late November to early November.
