The Dodgers repeat as world champions

– For todayNow you can listen to FOX news headlines!

The two best words for any sports fan are “game 7.”

The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays push each other to the edge and bring a big obstacle for the time of 2025 that includes memories, hope, heart, victory and a reminder that no one can write baseball.

The Dodgers didn’t lead until it counted the most. The Blue Jays kept the big bats in the Dodger lineup at bay for most of the game. After Miguel Rojas hit a game-tying home run off Jeff Hoffman, he would hit the go-ahead run to give the Dodgers the lead.

Joshinobu Yamamoto, who was a Game 6 Starter, pitched the Dodgers 2.2 Innings and closed out the game with a game-winning double.

Los Angeles won the game 5-4 and captured back-to-back titles, becoming the first team to do so since the 1999 and 2000 New York Yankees.

The game had everything a fan could want.

Blue Jays second baseman Bo Bichette, battling a knee injury, hit a three-run home run off a nearly baseless Shohei Ohtani. The fans in Toronto almost hit the roof of the stadium as Toronto took the lead.

But the rift between the two groups was burning hot.

Dodger reliever Justin Wrobleski hit Andres Gimenez in the bottom of the fourth inning. It caused the benches to be clear with the MP giving a warning to both parties.

But the dodgers started to get out of the takeoff. Teoscar Hernandez hit a sacrifice fly to score in the fourth inning. Then, Tommy Edman hit a sacrifice fly to score Mookie Betts in the sixth inning.

Toronto started a big insurance run when Gimenez doubled to score Ernie Clement to go up 4-2.

It was the eighth and ninth innings that changed the game completely.

Dodger third baseman Max Muncy made it a one-run game when he hit a solo home run off treysavage. It caused the blue jays to be Hoffman in this game, maybe a little less than he wanted. Rojas, who recorded his first hit since Oct. 1 earlier in the game, hit the game-tying home run run hoffman.

The blue jay didn’t make it easy on the dodgers.

With one out in the bottom of the ninth, the blue jays were threatening. The Dodgers brought in Yamamoto in this game for bleake Snell to try to get out of the jam, but he ended up loading the bases.

Yamamoto got Daultan Varshon to ground to Rojas, who stepped back and chased down the catcher to get the force out at home plate.

Then, Ernie Clement came to the plate. He hit the ball knowingly as far as he could and it went over the head of the Hernandez fielder. Instead, Fielder Andy pages captures the downed Hernandez and saves the Dodgers.

Blue Jays Reliever Seranthony Dominguez stepped into his hole in the 10th inning. But like his design, Musinguez found the pages to enter the flats at home. After that, Hernandez was based on Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Dominguez hit a taxi to first base and was able to collect the last throw of the day.

Smith brought hope to the Dodgers in the top of the 11th inning. He hit a long home run off Shane Bieber for the win.

Los Angeles won the final two games of the series to win the World Series. Yamamoto was named World Series MVP.
