The Chess Board can punish the Russian grandson who accused Naroditsky of cheating

The Governing Body of Chess said on Wednesday it is considering disciplinary action against the former world champion of Russia who continued to cheat on illegal allegations against Daniel Naroditsky in the year leading up to the death of the American chess player.

The Charlotte Chess Center in North Carolina, where Naroditsky was trained and worked as a coach, announced his death on Monday-. He was 29 years old. The cause of death was not made public.

Russian master Vladimir Kramnik, who held the world title for several years in the early 2000s, first accused the California-Born Pro of cheating in Online Chess in October. He continued to share his allegations on Social Media last year without providing much evidence.

Naroditsky, who became an 18-year-old Grandmother and addict, the highest title in chess alongside the World Chess Champion, has denied the allegations of cheating and accused Kramnik of trying to ruin his life.

Arkady Dvorkovich, the President of the International Chess Federation, said on Wednesday that he has officially transferred the relevant public statements made by Kramnik before and after the death of Naroditsky to the autopsy and the observation of the autopsy. He promised that the coalition would also take “appropriate action” in any case of social abuse or exploitation.

Dvorkovich said the Federation would establish an award in Naroditsky’s memory.

Kramnik continued to post about Naroditsky on the day his death was announced, calling it a tragedy and pondering the cause. Kramink wrote on social media platform ux that the death “should be investigated by the police.” He wrote on Wednesday that he found threats behind the state’s “public knowledge about the ‘darkness’ of today’s chess.”
