Barry Williams, who starred as Greg Brady on Hit Concom’s “The Brady Bunch,” recently appeared on the CW DocUseries “TV We Love You,” where he opened up about his crush on Maureen McCormick.

“I remember this event. I remember the day,” said Williams. “Lloyd saw that there might have been a very strong attraction between brother and sister. Maureen McCororrick was very attractive.”

“I sit very close, I lean very close,” said the 71-year-old.

Schwartz said Williams’ feelings for McCormick during qualifying were undeniable.

In 2024, Williams told Us Weekly she also had a “distressed teenager” on TV mom, the late Florence Henderson.

In McCormick’s Memoir of McCormick, “Here’s the Story,” the child star recalled a trip to Hawaii where the first episode of season 4 took place. It was there that she and Williams kissed.

“As soon as I got off the plane, I started thinking about him more than I had in a long time,” he wrote in his letter, as quoted by The Week. “We’ve spent the last three and a half years focusing on the desire to attract more people together despite the closeness of working together with another day every day.”

McCormick also described doing a duet with Williams. In 1972, the cast released their second studio album, “Meet the Brady Band,” and a national tour began.

He wrote: “We stand on opposite sides of the spectrum, a little bit in the center,” he wrote, as quoted by the Outlet. “In the end, we went crazy and sang. There was a moment of love, and there was a lot of sex between us, it wasn’t pretending.”

In September 2024, McCormick chose not to open up and tell. Instead, he said every week he celebrates his friendship with his Captages that spanned the past years.

“The show will always hold a warm place in my heart,” she said. “It’s just an amazing bond, so I feel very fortunate to have that.”

“The Brady Punch” aired for five seasons on ABC from 1969 to 1974, and its success inspired many spin-offs.
