Thailand says the elimination of Cambodia by Cambodia was moved by Trump who took over after the world killed the troops

Bangkok – Thailand said it had used the money for a temporary cease-fire by the US merchant until Cambodia apologized for a landmine explosion on Monday that injured four Thai soldiers on its border.

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul visited the injured troops on the border on Tuesday where the Thai army suspected new mines in violation of the agreement Thailand and Cambodia signed last month.

The country’s tensions between the Southeast Asian neighbors led to five days of fighting in late July that killed soldiers and civilians. Others were injured by the Land Ima mine explosion before and after the July fighting and the resulting truce despite the agreement.

The Thai army said one soldier lost his right foot after stepping into a ditch while walking along the border in Sistaket province on Monday, while three others suffered minor injuries. Cambodia has denied responsibility.

A spokesman for Thailand’s Ministry of Finance, Nikorndej Balankura said on Tuesday the incident showed “Cambodia’s complete lack of integrity.”

He called on Cambodia to apologise, conduct a thorough investigation and implement measures to prevent further explosions. Thailand has also said it will fully clarify the return of 18 Cambodian soldiers who have been detained since the conflict in July.

The situation should not escalate if Cambodia makes a sincere effort to meet the conditions, said Nikordej.

Cambodia Defense Spokesman Maly Socheata said the explosion was caused by “remnants of past conflicts” and urged Thai forces to avoid walking in old minefields.

Cambodia “remains committed to working closely with Thailand to promote peace and stability between the two countries, especially to ensure the safety and security of citizens and the safety of citizens,” he said.

Under the terms of the truce, Thailand agreed to release Cambodian troops and both sides must begin removing heavy weapons and landmines from the border. Countries say there has been some progress in disarmament.

Malaysia initially mediated the fire. President Trump then threatened to withhold trade rights from Cambodia and Thailand and the The agreement was signed During the meeting of the Southeast Asian country conference.

Matthew Wheeler, senior analyst for Southeast Asia at the Belgium-based International Crisis Group, said “it is clear that the agreement will decline, because it clearly ended the mismanagement of conflicts, that is, trade and Trump’s desire to be seen as a peacemaker.”

The argument One of the 8 or so eight that Mr. Trump says he’s doneas he repeated his opinion that he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize.

Thailand’s strong national sentiments have also made it difficult for the government to resolve disputes in a way that is agreeable to them, said Abesondo.
