Anderson was a division champion in each of his first seasons, and his defense may have been a big reason they could get a third.
The third-year star gives all the credit to his head coach, former linebacker Democo Ryans.
“It’s a deal to be coach of Democo and the culture that he brought here and the culture that was built,” Anderson told fox digital news in a recent interview. “The way he’s played defense and the way he expects to be played, he’s bringing in people from parents who make us defensive.

Anderson hopes that he can bring the right vibes to his community service in the field. To help raise the Canes, he went to the Boys and Girls Club of Houston to deliver bicycles and helmets to celebrate the holiday season.
“It’s a blessing and I just give it all thanks to God, man. He blessed me with this speaker and I can be my maid and I can deal with the feeling of raising Canes and Christmas.
“I remember my first bike, and I wanted an opportunity to help these kids get their first bike.” So it’s nice to see all the smiles and happiness on all the faces of the days they find the gym. “

“Getting into this playoff that we have, it’s a blessing,” he said. “I’m very excited about the challenge that we’ve already taken. We just have to continue to do the basics, man, take it one day at a time. Continue to play our standard of product and just raise our standards.”
