Teddi Mellencamp’s Ex Edwin Arroyave Debuts New Girlfriend

Before his new relationship, Arroyave was married to Mellencamp for 13 years. The exes share three children: Slide, 13, Cruz, 11, and Juba, 5. Arroyave also has a daughter from a previous relationship, 15-year-old Bella.

In November 2024, Mellencamp, 44, filed for divorce from Arroyave, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.

Earlier this month, Arroyave reported that she was dating again with her ongoing divorce.

“I’m in love with somebody, yeah,” Arrroyave said on an October episode of Eheartradio’s “e-Ed” Podcast. “It’s serious.”

At the time, Arroyave did not share any other details about his mystery woman or romance.

Mellencamp, put her health first as she battled Stage IV Melanoma. Mellencamp was diagnosed with Stage II melanoma in 2022, but in February it was revealed that the cancer had spread to her lungs and brain.

While Arroyave and Mellencamp are no longer in a romantic relationship, she has been by his side in treatment.

“It’s been an amazing year for us,” Arroyave reflected on his podcast. “First came the breakup. Then we got cancer about five months after that. Cancer came, and we stopped to [our divorce] until we think that. His life comes first. “

Mellencamp received good news about her condition this month, as her latest scans showed no detectable cancer. However, he will remain on Im-immunotherapy for the near future and, as he explained to fans, there is no technology in what doctors will refer to as “remission.”
