Alyssa Milano Shares Makeup-Free Selfie on Her 53rd Birthday

Alyssa Milano she adopted a natural look on her 53rd birthday.
“My annual birthday selfie. No filter. No makeup,” Milano captioned the selfie on Instagram on Friday, Dec. 19, noting only “little smudged eyebrows and whatever.” [her] final round of Botox and filler. “

Milano snapped a photo of herself lying in bed, wearing a floral nightgown, as she smiled for the camera’s beauty products on her face.
Milano’s unfiltered image also inspired him to write a poem about aging.
“Today is my birthday, I am 53 years old,” he began his poem. “This is the time when doctors and promoters and advertising companies all start using the same name for you, gently, in whispers, as if they apologized in advance.
He continued, ‘Elasticity.’ A word from physics, from fabrics, from rubber bands and waistlines and things designed to stretch and, ideally, return. The skin loses its elasticity, but what they are talking about is really not in vain. Mechanics. A long relationship between the body and the power. The ability to stretch yourself under pressure and then bounce back.”
In one passage of Milano’s poem, he reflected on the effects of aging.
He wrote: “When you’re young, this is just a thought. “No one tells you how much effort it takes because it’s not an effort. However, sometimes this quality becomes apparent because it becomes limited. Your skin hesitates, and your heart hesitates. He takes a long time to come back. From the overflowing night, from the sorrow, from the disappointment, from the people.”

Milano reiterated that he no longer wants to look back – only forward.
“Today, I am 53 years old. What did not return was not lost to me,” he concluded. “It just learned deep gravity.”
Milano, who has two children with her husband David Bugliarihas been open about getting cosmetic enhancements. Apart from Botox injections, Milano once had breast augmentation. She finally had her implants removed in September.
“Today I’m releasing those fake news, the parts of me that were never part of me,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I let go of the body made of sex [and] what I believed was necessary to be lovable; to be loved; to succeed; to be happy. And in doing so, I hope to free my daughter Bella from feeling those same unhealthy needs.”
Milano added, “Today I’m loved, I’m a woman, I’m lovable, and I’m successful. None of that is because of my transplant. I’ll still be all those things when I wake up and they’re gone. There’s a lot of joy in that knowledge and freedom to let go that I never had in the first place.”
