Steelers’ DK Metcalf Clashes With Fans In The Stands During The Game

Pittsburgh Steelers player DK Metcalf was seen arguing with a fan in the stands during a Detroit Lions game.

On Sunday, December 21, Metcalf, 28, was seen chatting with a Lions fan who was leaning on the stadium seats. Metcalf is then seen throwing the fan, who was wearing a black and green shirt and blue wig. The wide receiver did not appear to make physical contact with the fan, and the fan did not act or appear injured.

Photos of the moment were shared by the NFL on CBS’s official CBS account, with the caption, “DK Metcalf appears to be in an altercation with a Detroit fan.”

Metcalf was not ejected from the game, and there was no flag or game time penalty. Gene Steratorea CBS rules analyst, explained that the contact would not have been penalized because it happened off the field and the officials did not see it.

“Because the officials didn’t see this – and (you) wouldn’t expect it to come up where DK Metcalf was, it’s not something they would consider from a management perspective. [it] it will be brought up to NFL compliance, and they will fix it at that time,” said Steratore, CBS.

Matt Ryanformer Atlanta Falcons linebacker, weighed in on the intermission. “A suspension, we all agree, is probably coming,” Ryan said.

I Detroit Free Press he found a follower, and asked what they said to Metcalf and what their name was. (The fan was reportedly ejected from the stadium after the incident.)

“What, my full name is not DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf,” said a fan. “He doesn’t understand his government name, I called him like that and he grabbed me and tore my shirt, I was a little scared as all the people were talking to me. I’m busy but I just want the Lions to win my child.

Metcalf was selected by the Seahawks in the 2019 Draft. He was acquired by the Steelers in March, the same month his engagement news broke Normani. (Metcalf and Normani, 29, began dating in 2022 after being set up by a former bandmate. Russell Wilson and the wife Ciara.)
