Rubio announces Cartezuela’s Cartel de Los Soles Design Alpheration

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Sunday that the Cartel de Los Soles, a powerful criminal network tied to Venezuela’s top leadership, will be labeled a foreign terrorist organization (FTO).

The move appears to be an escalation of Washington’s stance on the Venezuelan Government and could lead to military action against the Maduro regime.

In a statement, Rubio confirmed that the US will formally designate the cartel as an FTO later this month.

The appointment, which will take effect on Nov. 24, which aims to prosecute alleged criminals led by Venezuelan Strolás Maduro and senior members of his regime.

According to the ministry of state, “based on Venezuela, the cartel de los nicolás maduro and other people at the highest level of the maduro regime have corrupted the Venezuelan military, intelligence, and the legislature and the judiciary.”

The statement or his cronies do not represent, “says his statement.”

“The Cartel de Los Soles, in coordination with other terrorist organizations including Tren de Aragua and the Sinaloa Cartel, is responsible for terrorist violence throughout the United States and Europe.”

The announced action is taken under section 219 of the Immigration and Labor Act, which authorizes the State Department to designate foreign companies involved in terrorist activity.

The appointment will become official when it is published in the Redral Register.

The Cartel de Los Seleves was previously sanctioned by the US Treasury Department under Order 13224, which targets terrorists and those who provide support for terrorism.

In an accompanying post on X, Rubio said:

. @ Stimept intends to name the cartel de los soles as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO). Led by Nicolás Maduro in law, the group has undermined the Government institutions in Venezuela and is responsible for the terrorist violence carried out by these other selected drugs and drug trafficking in the United States and Europe.

This statement came when President Truiret Truiret that the US intended to stop drug dealers and drug dealers in the country.

“We’re keeping drug dealers and drug dealers out of our country,” Trump told reporters Sunday night.

“And I actually told Marco and some of the people who are the Secretary of State are doing a good job, by the way. I said, ‘Go to Congress and give them to inform Venezuela,'” he added.

Trump’s comments came shortly after saying the government could hold talks with Venezuela and confirming whether the new sanctions would mean the US government could now target Maduro’s assets or infrastructure.

“It allows us to do that,” Trump confirmed during talks with the Venezuelan leader.

“We may have some talks with Maduro, and we’ll see how that turns out. They would like to talk,” he said before adding,
