Disturbing allegations against Michigan coach shot via 911 Audio

Details of the arrest of former University of Michigan Football Coach Sherrone Moore surfaced Wednesday and included allegations of rape and a possible mental health crisis.

According to TMZ SPORTS, additional audio from Dispatch included the suspect saying he was suicidal because of ‘losing his job today.’

Moore’s name was not mentioned in the audio, but TMZ SPORTS reported that the call came from an address on the Michigan football staff in Ann Arbor at the time Moored was arrested on Wednesday.

Moore, 39, was booked into the County Jail in Michigan, FOX News Digital confirmed. No charges have been recorded.

Pittsfield police said they responded to the home as part of an assault investigation. Police say the suspect is in custody and that the incident does not appear to be random in nature. Police said the suspect was booked into the Washtenaw County Jail pending a review of the charges by the Washtenaw County Prosecutor.

Moore’s arrest comes after the Wolverines’ head coach was fired after it was revealed that he had an affair with a “straffer. Michigan athletic director Manuel said “credible evidence was found that the Moores head coach engaged in inappropriate relationships with staff.”
