He added, “Brandon is greatly missed, truly missed with his mischievousness and love of life. He brought joy to everyone he met, and we will never forget him.”
Brandon later followed in his father’s footsteps. He got married Kelly Clarkson 2013, and the two share a close bond with Mcelore. Brandon and Clarkson, 43, adopted Daughters River in 2014 and settled in 2016. (Brandon was father to Savannah, 23, and Seth, 18, from his marriage to Melissa Ashworth.)

One month after Brandon’s death, Mencerire gave an update on how her children are handling the loss.
“The kids are doing well, they’re all hanging out together and staying together, and they’re taking it one day at a time,” McEntire told Entertainment Today in September. “We know God got this.”
