Pope Leo, Catholic protesters came out to fight against the ‘ban’ of immigrants

Pope Leo came out in support of a special special message issued by the US conference of Catholic bishops in recent days that lamented the “concern about the fear of questions.”

Without mentioning President Donald Trump by name, 216 of the 224 Bishops voted to approve the message accusing the “concern” of migrants in detention centers.

Speaking to reporters late in the day as he left the Papal country house south of Rome, Leo urged Catholics and all interested people to listen to what he had to say.

“I think we should look for ways to treat people individually, treat people with the dignity they have,” she said. “If people are in the United States illegally, there are remedies for that. There are courts, there is a justice system.”

Leo, from Chicago, acknowledged that there are problems in the US immigration system and said that a humane system does not need to include “open borders.”

“But when people are living a good life, and there are many for eleven, 15 years, to treat them in a very disrespectful way to say the least – and there has been some violence, unfortunately, I think the bishops have been very clear in what they are saying,” he said.

“I just invite everyone in the United States to listen to them.”

‘The Catholic Church Is Wrong’

The bishops had not written a false statement in one of their meetings since 2013, according to an accompanying press release. There were five votes against this statement and three exclusions voted at their meeting, held in Baltimore.

While Trump in his first presidential administration said they were motivated by the stories of the dreamers, there is no problem caused by the immigration talks about the Democrats with a bill that would see the income from the desired border. Leo, born Robert Converrest, has not met or spoken to Trump since he was elevated to the papacy.

He met at the Vatican on Wednesday with Jb Pritzker, the governor of Illinois. Pritzker has been vocal in his criticism of the Trump Administration, which deployed Illinois National Guard troops and hundreds from Texas in the Chicago area without seeking permission from the governor.
