Pet criminals – not POS – Killed in Exhaist Heist: French prosecutor – national

Petty criminals were involved in the French Crown Jewel Heist, not an organized crime ring, Paris prosecutor Laure Beccua said, adding another twist to the shocking case.

“This is not an everyday joke … But it is the kind of penalties that we do not usually associate with organized crime problems,” Beccua told Francein radio.

The four suspects charged so far in relation to this all lived in Seine-Saint-Denis, a suburb north of Paris, and “locals said apparently.

The two male suspects were known to police prior to the robbery and have multiple convictions.

One of the men is 37 years old with 10 previous convictions for robbery.

BecCuau said he had a “varied criminal record but not one that would normally suggest involvement with organized crime.” Another suspect has two previous robbery convictions, he added.

The two men were found guilty of their involvement in a similar robbery in Paris in 2015, he said.

On Saturday, a 38-year-old woman was charged with conspiracy to commit a crime with intent to commit a crime.

BecCuawa said that the man, 37, who is a woman who bills at the weekend is a couple and has children, but he did not give any other details.

Investigators believe four men were involved in the robbery, which is reportedly still at large.

If it can be done with the profile of the suspects, BecCua told the radio station, “I don’t find that surprising. What we’re seeing now is that people who don’t have a good crime are developing quickly.”

A group of four opened Apollo’s louvre gallery with a wide light on Oct. 19 after logging in with broken windows.

The jewels were stolen – a significant trove worth around US $ 102 million – except that they were returned to one crown: the crown of Eugénie, who was injured but killed during the escape.

Still missing is the datomon-and-emerald necklace Napoleon gave Marie-Louise’s press as a wedding gift, as well as pieces tied to Marie-Amélie’s 19th-century chandeliers Marie-Amélie and Hortense, and Eugénie’s Diam Tiara.

It took the thieves – who used cherry blossoms to scale the exterior walls of the building – less than eight minutes to break into the world’s most visited museum, which the museum director called “a terrible failure.”

The robbers stole the Cherry guard who used to gain access to the upper floors of the building nine days before the breach was committed.

Security footage shows the group climbing through the window of the Apollo gallery at 9:30 a.m. on the day of the attack. At 9:38, the suspects had left, carrying the loot, as they had left the coppers.

According to investigators, there is no evidence of inside help at this time, but they are not looking at a wider network beyond the four suspects caught on security cameras.
