Days of Our Lives welcome to 2026 and Salem is set for major drama. Today, we’ll dive into predictions for the year ahead with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), Lexi Carver (Renee Jones), and many more.
Days of Our Lives: EJ DiMera and Cat Greene Spark True Love
Our first prediction is about Cat Greene and EJ DiMera. I suspect they soon rekindled true love. We saw some chemistry between Cat Greene and EJ DiMera when they connected on Wuthering Heights and both were Clyde Weston’s (James Read) victims. But then because of the crime, Cat Greene had to get him drunk and that kind of put a little table on things. And of course he was kidnapped.
But when EJ DiMera came out of the mausoleum, Cat Greene was relieved—apparently relieved. He gave EJ DiMera a big hug and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) saw it. Even though Chad DiMera couldn’t be with Cat Greene, you could tell it bothered him. Soon, we’ll have EJ DiMera and Cat Greene sharing a kiss. I think more is coming soon for them. And I think it’s going to be hot.
Brady Black and Sarah Horton’s Relationship and Prophecy Proposition
Our second prediction is that Brady Black falls fast and hard for Sarah Horton. They just shared a kiss and I suspect we’ll see Brady Black and Sarah Horton get really serious in 2026, but it’s not built to last. Brady Black and Sarah Horton are tied for love, loss. And little Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater). Brady Black is very supportive during the divorce of Sarah Horton and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).
I suspect that Brady Black and Sarah Horton will move on even though they are not set for the long term. I think we will see Brady Black and Sarah Horton make love soon. After that, Brady Black will have serious feelings, but I think Sarah Horton won’t be so sure. Then Brady Black, I think, will propose. That may be the real confirmation that Sarah Horton needs to see that she doesn’t go over Xander Cook and may never open Days of Our Lives.
Sophia Choi Escapes Bayview and Kidnaps Trey DiMera
Our third prediction is that genius Sophia Choi escapes Bayview and kidnaps young Trey DiMera. Sophia Choi, let’s face it, is very worried. He’s already running Bayview using Rachel Black as his evil daughter.
Sophia Choi knows how to sneak into Bayview. She can sneak out to the apartment to spy on Trey DiMera’s kid at Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) place. If you remember, Trey DiMera was sick and crying a lot. Sophia may decide that they are not taking good care of her child. As a result, Sophia Choi may steal Trey DiMera from Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree.
Days of Our Lives: Resurrection and the Tragic End of Lexi Carver
Our fourth prediction for 2026 is that Lexi Carver is resurrected, but dies again. The person in the lab of EJ DiMera and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) will soon be revealed. In the latest big long promotion, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) is looking at a tube the size of a person and her face is very nervous, more than the look of someone who just sees a person in a large test tube.
I think seeing Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) dead wife in the pipe would shock Paulina Price. Also, Lexi Carver was recently name-dropped by Abe Carver, Theo Carver, and Chad DiMera. EJ DiMera was talking to the tube after Theo Carver was injured and they fled the crypt. EJ DiMera was apologizing. And I suspect it was on her sister Lexi Carver; EJ DiMera felt bad for not protecting his son, Theo Carver.
Lexi Carver may be resurrected by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf but dies again because he hasn’t completed the formula, or maybe something happens to Theo Carver and Lexi Carver sacrifices herself to save her son.
Philip Kiriakis and Gabi Hernandez Fighting Stories on Days of Our Lives
Our fifth prediction is about Philip Kiriakis and Gabi Hernandez. I suspect they will get engaged in 2026. Philip and Gabi became close and he was with the Hernandez family for Thanksgiving.
The way things are going with Gabi Hernandez and Philip Kiriakis’ cute couple, he might pop the question on Valentine’s Day in February. But that also makes me wonder if Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will show up in time to ruin their happiness forever. I don’t think he’s dead.
Joy Wesley Returns With Secret Child by Alex Kiriakis
Our next prediction is about the baby bomb. We know that Joy Wesley left Salem in April 2025 pregnant with Alex Kiriakis’ child. All the baby talk lately between Alex Kiriakis and his girlfriend, fiancee-to-be Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), may foreshadow the conflict that’s brewing. Days of Our Lives.
Joy Wesley may be seen with Alex Kiriakis’ baby shortly after marrying Stephanie Johnson. If his new wife tells Alex Kiriakis that she is not sure about having children, it could cause big problems if Joy Wesley is seen with Alex Kiriakis’ baby in her arms when she returns.
Days of Our Lives: Holly Jonas’s Spiral and New Look in 2026
Our guess is that Holly Jonas has some kind of creepy vibe and is building both Ari and Tate Black (Leo Howard) and possibly other family members. We know Holly Jonas went to Paris for the holidays, but will she come back with a new and bad attitude?
Holly Jonas has a new look in 2026: white hair, bright, heavy makeup. And a new and annoying attitude. Holly Jonas is going to blast Tate Black and get mad at him. He may have to spend more time with his family now that Rachel Black is in Bayview. Holly Jonas is going to turn her new bad attitude on her friend Ari. And we’ll see Ari turn on Holly Jonas and tell her to snap out of it. Maybe there’s something going on while Holly Jonas is in Paris that’s to blame for her bad new year outlook.
Chad DiMera Recast and Potential Move to Boston
Our eighth prediction for 2026 is by Chad DiMera. I suspect she might pack a bag and head to Boston with Thomas DiMera (Christopher Cary) and Charlotte DiMera (Olivia & Oakley Rondou) to live with Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). We know Jennifer Horton took the kids to Boston when Chad DiMera was kidnapped.
I think Jennifer Horton enrolled them in school rather than letting them miss class time Days of Our Lives. So maybe Thomas DiMera will ask if they can go back to Boston and Chad DiMera fight his kids, fight his in-laws, or follow them to Boston and let the kids finish the school year there.
The actors playing the roles of Chad DiMera and Thomas DiMera are both duplicates. It’s a done deal. The new cast has their first show dates in April 2026. We know there will be a gap between Christopher Cary and Billy Flynn’s last dates and when the new cast starts. A side trip to Boston could be an excuse to get them off the screen to fill that gap.
Gwen Rizczech’s Heartbreak and Xander Cook’s Reconciliation
Our next 2026 final prediction is Gwen Rizczech heartbroken by Xander Cook. He still has the hots for Xander Cook, and he and Gwen Rizczech rocked in 2026. On several occasions, not so long ago, Gwen Rizczech almost put Xander Cook to bed, but she hit the brakes each time at the last minute.
Sarah Horton is in his heart, but she will meet Brady Black. I think Gwen Rizczech will be shot. Our correspondent told us that Brady Black and Sarah Horton broke up in March. Then Sarah Horton and Xander Cook begin to reconcile. Meanwhile, Gwen Rizczech may be getting close to someone else, perhaps bad boy Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan).
Belle Black and Shawn-Douglas Brady Rekindle Their Romance
Our final prediction for 2026 is that Belle Black and Shawn-Douglas Brady reconnect and renew after the shooting. Belle Black and Shawn-Douglas Brady have been lovers since high school, but they are separated and become closer when her father John Black (Drake Hogestyn) saves the life of her father Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), but dies in the process.
We haven’t seen much of Shawn-Douglas Brady, but he’s back soon to check on Stephanie Johnson’s condition. Ultimately, Shawn-Douglas Brady will end up getting fired.
