In the video, Dillon said that he and his mother were involved in a hit-and-run involving another car in January, which resulted in Pauline suffering from chronic illnesses in the last months of her life.
Dillon explains: “We were driving down a dark black highway, and there was a truck and a trailer parked in the middle of the road,” Dillon said. “We never saw it because they didn’t have lights. The boy said he ran out of gas, but for what reason, but he didn’t have his lights.”
Dillon said the car was “spotted,” and both he and his mother had pain in their hands and wrists. He said Pauline later learned he suffered broken ribs and a “pretty gash” on his left leg.
After the incident, Pauline was taken to a local hospital for evaluation but was released because “he couldn’t find anything wrong with it,” said Dillon.
According to the original son of the television show, a week or two later, Pauline returned to the hospital after experiencing chest pains, which led to the discovery of broken ribs. He said he was sent home and told that his injuries would take a few weeks to heal.
In late June, Pauline began experiencing digestive problems “where she couldn’t keep food down,” Dillon said, adding that “everything she ate or wore came back.” Pauline went back to the hospital, but “they couldn’t find anything wrong,” she said.

Pauline’s condition took a turn for the worse in August when she had more tests at the hospital and doctors discovered that it was her “esophagus,” which was causing food to come back up. He was also diagnosed with covid-19.
Pauline stayed in the hospital for several months and received treatment. At this time, Dillon said that the doctors also found a “good” painful wound “on his back and he said” he did not tell anyone about us, I think because he was ashamed. ” Doctors proposed surgical treatment of the wound, but “his health was not in good shape.”
“They couldn’t do all these tests and surgeries and procedures that they wanted to do because there was always something wrong,” said Dillon, noting that his mother was malnourished because she couldn’t cope with food.
According to Dillon, his mother continually refused treatment for the back wound, “saying it hurt really bad, and when it came time to [clean the wound] Every day, he kept changing, not wanting to do it. “
Dillon said her mother was sent home to hospice care in November after her family was told “there was nothing else they could do for her.”
“They say he may recover, but with grace it may be for now,” he said, adding that doctors said they had “signs of heart failure and heart failure.”
“So, he came home to my aunt’s house in the hospital in November 19 19, I believe, and he was there for about a week and a half,” Dillon said. “There were times when it seemed like he was doing good, and of course, he woke up and was able to talk about everything, but there were times when he was in pain.”
Dillon said Pauline died on Thanksgiving before he made it to his aunt’s house.
“We all went to meet at my aunt’s house, where she was thankfully there. … but on the right side when I walked towards [my aunt’s] The house, I got a call saying he was dead,” Dillon said.
Dillon has set up a gofundme page to raise money for the cremation. As of Thursday morning, December 11, the page raised $125 out of the 1,400 goal.
