North Carolina becomes the latest war zone as the EBB is militarized in other cities

The immigration authorities of the organizations can increase their enforcement action in North Carolina to the second city, since the jobs in other US cities allowed by the administration of Donald Trump may be reduced or get Legal Limbo.

Raleigh Madet Cowell said Monday in statements to local media that “we saw that customs and border protection is coming to Raleigh.”

“I ask Raleigh to remember our values and maintain peace and respect through any challenges ahead,” Cowell added in a statement.

The Trump Administration has been Charlotte, a city of about 950,000 people, focused on raising immigration provisions to fight crime – despite local opposition and dwindling local values.

Homeland Security Secretary Tricia Mclaughlin said in a statement that police officers in Charlotte over the weekend had arrested “130 illegal aliens who broke” immigration laws. The agency said the records of those arrested included gang membership, aggravated assault, and other criminals, but there were no other charges, but how many people were facing charges or other information.

Military Guards have no power of arrest

The move in North Carolina comes after the Trump Carolina administration launched migrant crashdowns in other cities this year, calling for national guard forces and, in the case of Los Angeles, some US Marines.

The deployment of the National Guard has been one of the most controversial measures of Trump’s second term, reflecting an expanded willingness to use the military to achieve domestic goals. It also increased interstate relations, with some led by Republican governors willingly sending their security forces to foreign cities in other democratic states.

While the Trump administration points to rising crime rates, violent crime has warmed down over the past two years as the covil-19 pandemic has subsided.

Members of the National Guard By law do not have the power to arrest under the current situation, but they are tasked with protecting state institutions, especially those run by US Lammitation and cultural coercion, as the second Trump administration implements a broad deportation agenda.

But those results are being questioned.

The Center for Non-Military Policy Policy published statistics showing that 35 percent are incarcerated in September 2025, compared to 65 percent last year in the Democratic Dealk Administration. Libertarian think-tank Cato reported similar findings.

“The President’s party has vowed to target gang members, murderers and rapists, but let’s arrest violent criminals.

NC Governor, Charlotte Mayor May Blast Submission

The Department of Homeland Security said it focused on North Carolina because of policies called Herns) between local authorities and immigration lawyers. While the state faithfully has a Republican legislature, the governor and the oil majors of Charlotte and Raleigh are all Democrats.

Rick Su, a professor at the University of North Carolina School of Law who studies local government, transportation and federalism, said the administration is likely to face the level of opposition and protests seen in places like Chicago.

“They don’t want to just get people out. They’re interested in the show,” Su added, of the administration’s intent.

The crackdown was set off by heated opposition from local leaders.

“We’ve seen armed, heavily armed agents in the area of documented vehicles, targeting American citizens based on the color of their skin,” said Gov. Josh Stein in a video statement on Sunday. “This doesn’t make us safe. It’s frightening and dividing our community.”

Charlotte Mayor VI LYLES said she was “deeply concerned” by the videos of the crackdown but also said she appreciated the silence in the footage.

This summer, a refugee activist from Ukyna Zaritska was killed by a train on the Charlotte Light-Rail train, an attack captured on video. While the suspect is from the US, and has a documented history of mental health issues, the Trump administration has tried to undermine the killings and blame it on Democrats.

Democratic officials resist, file legal challenges

Elsewhere, cities led by Democratic mayors targeted by Trump for military involvement – including Chicago, which has filed a separate lawsuit on the issue in the U.S. – have been pushing back.

They argue that the President has not satisfied the legal limit on the use of armed forces and in doing so will violate the sovereignty of the government.

US District Judge Karin ENGNGUT, appointed to the Federal bench by the Trump Administration, this month issued a permanent injunction against the military in Portland, saying that he had failed to establish that with a proper right. On Sunday, the administration filed an emergency motion seeking to put a decision on appeal.

In Tennessee, a judge on Monday blocked the use of the National Guard in Memphis, although the order was held to give the Trump administration time to appeal.

Trump announced in September that the national guard will be sent to fight crime in Memphis and the authorities killed by the Federal Agency as the safe Memphis Task Force. Memphis Mayor Paul Young, D-Mc., said he never asked for a security guard to come to his home.
