Nick Reiner Commenting on the 2016 Resurgence Video Prison

Nick Reiner he once talked about being bailed out of jail in a resurfaced video before his arrest for the murder of his parents, Rob Reiner again Michele Singer Reiner.

In a YouTube video uploaded in September 2016, Nick, now 32 years old, portrays a fictional music hero called Dddavid.

“And I don’t care if anyone calls me Sally because I’m a snail and I’ll never fail and you know what? You’ll have to bail me out of jail,” he rapped.

The video also shows Nick walking around his neighborhood and chatting with neighbors. Sometimes, Nick can be seen smoking. (Nick has been outspoken about his substance abuse problems over the years.)

Nick was later joined by his younger sister, Romy. While talking to the camera, a dog can be heard barking in the background and Nick laughs, “I’m going to kill that f***ing dog.”

Earlier this week, news broke that Rob and Michele were found dead from stab wounds at their home in Brentwood, California. Rob was 78 and Michele was 70.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michele and Rob Reiner,” a family spokesperson said in a statement. Variety on Sunday, December 14. “We are saddened by this sudden loss, and we ask that we be with you at this incredibly difficult time.”

Rob and Michele tied the knot in May 1989. Besides Nick and Romy, 28, the couple share a son Jake, 34. When Harry Met Sally the director was also the stepfather of his late ex-wife Penny Marshalldaughter Tracy, 61.

The next day, Us Weekly confirmed that Nick was arrested for murder. He was remanded in custody without bail.

Los Angeles County Attorney Nathan Hochman announced at a press conference on Tuesday, December 16, that Nick has been charged with two counts of murder. He faces life in prison without parole or the death penalty. Nick made his first court appearance the following day but did not enter his plea.

“This is a tragic tragedy for the Reiner family,” Nicks’ attorney said Alan Jackson said in a press conference following the hearing. “We all realized that our hearts go out to the entire Reiner family. There are very complex and serious issues associated with this case. Those need to be carefully, but carefully handled and examined and looked at and analyzed.”

On Wednesday, December 17, Jake and Romy broke their silence on the tragic death of their parents.

“Words cannot even describe the unimaginable pain we feel every moment of the day. The terrible and tragic loss of our parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, is something no one should have to feel,” read a statement obtained by TMZ. “They were not only our parents, they were our best friends.

Tracy also spoke about the tragedy, telling NBC News, “I came from the greatest family. I don’t know what to say. I’m shocked.”
