It turned out to be more of a boom than a boom. So, that team owner Jerry Jones brought out the skills of catching water and what it means to the team.

“George has always been an important part of our story, and he has his story, to the extent that is our story,” Jones said, via the team’s website. “I’m proud of him. Everyone in this team, and he’s certainly been a complete difference since we played two weeks ago … something when you have [CeeDee Lamb] and Pickens. “

Jones added that he will want the curtains back on the cowboys in 2026 and beyond.

“It’s true,” Jones said. “We’re proud to have him and I don’t even want to play games with him. We’d love to have him on the team. By the way, I’d love to have him [Lamb] in the group. And I know what we’re asking for here, but we’re confident that it’s really a combination that allows us to get the case out.

“I’m proud that he’s having the season he’s having. It’s beyond anything we could have hoped for.”

He already has career-highs in receptions (67) and touchdown catches (8) this season. He has 1,054 receiving yards and is on the verge of setting a new career mark in that stat category. He had 1,140 receiving yards in 2023 with the Steelers.
