Nato warns potential allies of Russia amid rising threats

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte warned members of the Transatlantic Alliance on Thursday that they could be Russia’s next target.

Rutte told those present that the departure was not a time for self-congratulation as Russia continues its massive drone attacks and invasion of Ukraine.
“I fear that too many have talent that has been quietly killed. Too many don’t feel the urgency. And too many believe that time is on our side.”
The Nato chief is urging his allies to boost spending and production, saying their armed forces must be equipped to defend their homelands, and noting that Moscow may be ready Use military forces against NATO within five years.

“We all have to accept that we have to do something to protect our way of life, now. Prime Minister Donald Tark said an investigation into the incident found that Russian secret services “arranged the bombing of the Polish railroad and hired two Ukrainians to do it.”
The train blast was the latest in a series of security incidents in Eastern Europe, following an airstrike in September that saw Russian drones fly into Estonia before being intercepted by NATO aircraft.
