Mosdad names ‘sardar ammar’ as architect of Iranian plates in Australia, Greece and Germany

Israel’s MoSSAD named Irgc after attacks on Jewish and Israeli targets abroad, causing political collapse in Australia and Germany.

Israel’s Mossadi on Sunday publicly pointed to a high-profile image of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) that it has launched several attacks against Israelis in 2024-2025, and pointed to the new expulsion of Astrassador and the expulsion of Tehran’s envoy.

In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s office on behalf of the Mossad, the agency says “Disclosure for the first time” of the network under Sardar Ammar, the “power commander of the Qudd,” which was talking about efforts in Australia, Greece and Germany.

The Mossad also points to a political controversy that has been tied to the network’s exposure and broader Iranian activity.

In late August, Australia expelled Iranian ambassador Ahmad Sadeghi and said it would go after a terrorist organization after intelligence-led attacks in Melbourne and Sydney; Sadeghi had denied the allegations as he left the country.

In Germany, the administration in July summoned the Iranian ambassador, after the arrest of a Denmash suspect accused of spying on Jewish and Israeli intelligence on behalf of Iranian intelligence, and officials warn of terrorist activity.

A Years Old Campaign

The Mossad’s statement called attention to Iran’s approach as a campaign that took years to find the cost of Israel “by harming innocent people around the world while gaining its recognition, removing its incomparable cost and understanding the great cost of conflict.”

Recent cases in Greece show a pattern: In 2024, Greek police arrested suspects, including Iranians and Afsons, in addition to arson attacks on an Israeli-owned hotel and synagogue in Athens; Earlier, in 2023, two Pakistanis faced an alleged Iranian-led plan to target Israeli and Jewish sites in the city.
