“Last night, I was eating the leftovers from our Christmas Eve feast (a blur this year), wrapping a few last minute presents, and tiptoeing down the stairs with my husband to make sure ‘Santa’ enjoyed his cookies and the ‘reindeer’ ate his carrots – anything to keep the magic of Christmas morning through our children’s eyes,” she wrote our children. “I plan to spend today curled up with my family—probably pajamas all day, Scrabble or Sequence (or Candyland for the kids), music playing, candles flickering, dogs snoring, endless pastures; laughter, side bars, deep breathing (you know the ones), fun and memories.”

Meghan concluded with well wishes to those who support her work.

“I hope that regardless of whether you are in pajamas as we are, or dressed to the nines, whether you have a big meeting, with your partner, your children, or alone – wherever you find yourself today reading this note – you know that I wish you a Merry Christmas, and all the blessings that come with it,” he continued. “From my family to yours – Happy Holidays!”

Earlier this month, Meghan posted a family Christmas card on her social media account, along with the caption, “Happy holidays! From our family to yours.”

The accompanying photo showed Harry and Meghan – who have been married since May 2018 – standing on a small bridge outside with their children. Archie wrapped his arms around his father’s waist while Harry cupped his son’s face in his hand. At that time, Meghan and Lilibet held hands and pressed their foreheads together. In keeping with their decision to maintain the privacy of their children, none of the children’s faces are visible in the photo.

Harry and Meghan also released an official holiday card featuring a photo of the couple holding hands in Canada during the Invictus Games in February.

“On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Archewell, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a happy new year,” the message read.
