Matthew Stafford catches Davante Adams for two touchdowns in RAMS’ WIN RACS

The Los Angeles Rams and MvP Frontrunner Mather Stafford just kept winning, as they fell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34-7 on “Sunday Night Football.”

The Rams have won six straight games and continue to lead the NFC West with a 9-2 record. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers fell to 6-5, tying them with the Carolina Panthers for the NFC South Early.

This game has been banned as you get a primetime reading game between the playoffs and hope, and much of what needed to be done in a positive and fair way has been his 17 seasons.

Stafford added three more touchdowns to his league-leading total, giving him 30 on the year with just two touchdowns. And the man who was happy to repeat his right, Davante Adams, continued to be – to aim in the red zone.

Adams secured two touchdowns for the Rams, including the Game’s Train Score that opened a 10-play, 80-yard drive with a well-thrown fade to Stafford.

Then, after Baker Mayfield threw a pick-six in the next Buccaneers, Stafford came directly to start the second quarter with a five-point strike to finish Colby Parkinson, opening the game to 21-0.

Needing a touchdown, Mayfield found Tez Johnson for 14 points on the next line to cut into the Rams’ lead. But Stafford needed only four plays to go 65 yards and connect with Adams again, this time on a 24-yard touchdown pass.

Adams finished the game with 62 yards on five catches, while Puka Nacua led Los Angeles with 97 yards on seven carries.

During the Buccaneers’ touchdown, Mayfield scrambled seven yards on third-and-6, dropping his shoulder over two Rams defenders to move the chains. The cost of a violent bully was shown, as he suffered a left shoulder injury that eventually forced him out of the game.

Injuries appeared to plague Mayfield when he attempted a Hail Mary move at the end of the first half. He went down on one knee with his left arm motionless before finally heading to the locker room.

When Tampa Bay exited in the second half, backup Teddy Bridgewater took over for the injured Maymefield, who was settled without standing on the Twins’ side of the road. It’s not clear what exactly Mayfield is, but given his history of playing through injuries, this is clearly something he can use – and could be cause for concern moving forward.

Bridgewater was unable to mount a comeback as the Buccaneers battled the dominant Rams defense. BRIDGWATER went 8-for-for-62 for 62 yards, and Mayfield was 9-1-19 for 41 yards with two touchdowns, one coming from the broadcaster.

As a team, the Buccaneers managed just 193 yards on 333 carries, but that was the story of late for this Los Angeles team.

At 9-2, the Rams hold the best record in the NFC, showing they are a legitimate force heading into the 2025 regular season finale.
