Luke Bryan reveals the cause of his sister’s death in a rare family interview

Luke Bryan it turns on my sister Kelly BryanUnexpected death in 2007.
“I never explained what happened to my sister,” Luke, 49, said on the Tuesday, October 28, episode of CNN Podcast’s All with Anderson Cooper. “There’s a lot of misinformation out there on the Internet, and I think some people are wondering what happened and I think we tried to cover it up.”
The singer revealed his cause of death for a while. “But there’s a very, very small percentage of people who die for no reason in the world,” she said. “And it’s called Sudden Death Syndrome and that’s actually what they were explaining about my sister’s death as she was at her house doing her clothes, and it was Anderson, someone just turned off the switch on her and that’s when they were in so much pain.”
When asked if it took “a while” to accept his sister’s diagnosis, Luke replied: “Yes, yes, we wanted to know, if there was any unanswered family history.”
While Luke notes that “the usual autopsy findings of Kelly’s age would be” an aneurysm or an embolism or a blood clot,” he explains that “it’s all nonsense” surrounding his death.
“He had a serious, like, orbital bone injury,” she said. “So whether he fainted or not, I think he probably went upstairs and kind of highlighted himself.” My niece was three years old at the time. “
Luke said that if “someone could, maybe his chances of survival” would be “much better.”
He continued: “She really was everything in our lives. “She was a mother of three children and she was yours, the most beautiful mother you could ever dream of. And we all approached him about a lot of things and it’s hard to wrap your brain around confidence.”
After his death, Luke said “what he can’t do [he] he heard “on the morning of the funeral.
“I mean, it’s nauseating. I didn’t want to go to the funeral home and see my sister. And I really can’t process this – I was actually going to deal with this – it really wasn’t good about it,” just really remembering that I’m not doing well about it, “just really remembering. “And we get in the car and it’s the vision that you get in the car and that this has to happen.”
When Luke entered the room, the singer – who described himself as a “spiritually good person” with a foundation of my belief in Christ and Christianity “- said” the first time “in his life when he felt” the spirit of the world removed my burden. “
“When I saw him, it was like something, almost like a pressure valve was released,” he explained. “And I just feel inside … I don’t, I can’t explain it. It was like Adedele – my mother couldn’t end up in that place.”
Seven years after the death of Kelly, her husband, Ben Cheshirehe died of a heart attack. Luke went on to adopt three second children: Jordan, Kris and Tilde. (Luke and his wife, Caroline BryanThey are also the parents of Thomas “Bo”, 17, and Tatum “Tate”, 15.)
“That’s what you do as a family,” he explained. “And I think he goes into the nature of the nation and does what he can to be kind enough to make it where it belongs to them, and he has to do the job of losing that, and he has to do the job that he had to do.”
All in all, Luke explained that he “has to find the silver linings” and he “appreciates” them.
“I mean everything, I mean, it’s all brotherhood. It looks and smells like two brothers complaining and fighting and fighting and struggling,” he said. “But with Tate, my 15-year-old, they have a really special bond, and I can’t imagine a family where they have to grow up.” And I’m proud of it every day. “
