Lizzo Shares Her Wild New Year’s Resolution in a Booty-Baring Bikini

Lizzo proves time and time again that self-love never goes out of style.
The singer, 37, enters the new year with the same star power, working towards 2026 confidence in a nude bikini.
“My New Year’s resolution is to be a BITCH ๐ซถ๐พ,” she captioned it.
Lizzo went makeup-free and had her hair styled in an updo in her Instagram photos shared on Monday, January 5, rocking a strapless bandeau top, gathered at the center with a small iron. She paired it with a low rise thong with matching accents at the waist.
The “About Damn Time” hitmaker hit the nail on the head as she soaked up the sun, showing off her blue nails and stiletto nails before turning around to show off her rear as she pulled the sides to her fringes.

The former chart-topper kicked off the new year in style, sharing snaps in the Swim Triangle Bikini Top and Swim Luxe Side Tie Thong Bikini from her Yitty collection.
She also rocked a bodyneck bodysuit from Emilio Puccii, which retails for $680 online at Saks Fifth Avenue, and earrings with vintage-inspired white sunglasses, featuring her song โDITTOโ on the post.

In November 2025, Lizzo talked about her weight loss transformation and self-care journey in a candid Substack post.
“It wasn’t about being ‘thin’ for me. I will always have the stretch, and the skin of a woman who carries a lot of weight. And I’m proud of that. Even if the world doesn’t want me to,” she wrote.
Lizzo said she began her journey in the fall of 2023, when she was “deeply depressed” by the story of a “horrible scandal,” revealing that “it was like the whole world turned its back on me.” The singer was talking about the lawsuit filed by three of his dancers who opposed him at the time. (In court documents obtained by Us Weeklythe three accused Lizzo of sexual and religious harassment, disability discrimination, creating a hostile work environment and more. He denied their allegations.)
“We are in an era where big girls are getting smaller because they are tired of being judged. Now those big girls are being judged for being small by the society that they were supporting,” she continued. “There’s nothing wrong with living in a big body.”
Lizzo pointed out, “But if a woman wants to change, she should be allowed to change.”
