“Terminator” star Linda Hamilton returns to the Hollywood setting of her youth as she embraces aging.
During a recent interview with AARP magazine, the 69-year-old actress explained that she is against adhering to rigid beauty standards and considers her body image to reflect the natural health of her life.
“I don’t spend a moment trying to look younger at any level,” Hamilton said. “I just surrendered completely to the fact that this is the face I found. And it tells me a lot. And sometimes I’m the one who doesn’t want to hear.”

“I’m not chasing beauty, and I’m not in a big hurry,” she continues. “I’m fully invested right now, but that doesn’t mean you’re not trying to be healthy. But not all the time — sometimes it’s just a jelly donut thing.”

“I’m not strong, which is a good way to grow,” Hamilton added. “I’ve always said that stubbornness is what kills us: rigid thoughts and a kind of intransigence.”
“I have tried very hard in my life to stay as fluid as possible. One definition of happiness is in the middle of a fast river and don’t try to swim to the left or to the right. It is a beautiful, joyful movement.”

Hamilton rose to fame as Sarah Conner in the 1984 Science Fiction Action Movie “The Laternator.” In the film, Sarah is a young security guard who is suddenly targeted by the killer Cyborg, the distance (Arnold Schwarzenegger). The actress returned for the second movie, “UmQhumiswa 2,” which saw Sara’s transformation from an ordinary young woman into an action movie.

To prepare for the role, Hamilton underwent several months of intense physical training, fighting and weapons and continued to perform most of his stunts. At the age of 62, Hamilton once again lamented his role in the 2019 “dark announcement: he trained a lot for a year to be wiser to Sarah in the battle.
Hamilton currently stars as scientist and military operative Dr. Kay in the fifth season of the Netflix series. ” While speaking to AARP, Emmy award winner Oninee discussed the decades of stress on her body and explained how she stayed in shape while hitting the show.
“To do ‘touchy things’ and keep yourself at a level of fitness – there is a lot of damage and injury that I work, I did it at a certain price,” he said.

Hamilton continued, “This is a good place where I found that it pays attention to whatever I need that day. It was yoga, yoga, yoga, yoga, youli, you need to relax and stretch today. ‘ Really, it’s very important. So that’s what I actually do three times a week.”
During an interview with the outlet, the Maryland native also reflected on the aging process.
“I’ve lived to the fullest in a way I never did when I was younger,” she said. “I’m not trying to please anyone or prove anything or show off. It sounds kind, but it’s not. It’s a lovely satisfaction with the work I have.”

Hamilton shares that she is accepting being a grandmother for the first time. She told the outlet that the father of her child Grandchild is her son Dalton, 36, and lives in her neighborhood.
“We walked into that beautiful thing with grandma,” she said. “I find that connection amazing; I look into his eyes, there is something very precious.”

The actress shares Dalton with her ex-husband, Bruce Bruce, whom she was married to from 1982 to 1989. You are 1989. She is a mother and her daughter, director James Cameron.

Along with “Stranger Things,” Hamilton recently starred in the second and third seasons of the Syfy show “Alien” and the sci-action movie “Osiris.”
“I’ve found a great balance between work and life — he’s been able to work a lot in the last few years — which is such a surprise,” he told AARP. “I have never worked that waste for three years, to do two series at a time and hit a movie in between.”

“And yet I’m able to be part of my community and not leave all my friends behind because I’m working,” Hamilton said. “I found a way to put myself together. I feel like everything is a blessing right now.”

Hamilton also shared that the best piece of advice he ever received was from his daughter Josephine.

“He was six years old, visiting my parents in Maryland,” Hamilton recalled. “And I got up from the little hole and my mother said, ‘Josephine and I were talking, and we were talking about beauty, and Josephine said, ‘My mother is beautiful and you want to know why?’ And my mother said, ‘What do you think?’ He said, ‘Because his face is full of joy.’
“So I’ve used that as my definition of beauty ever since,” she said. “And I work happily.”
