Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson she quickly shut down rumors that she was pregnant while celebrating the new year.
Speculation rose after the 36-year-old actress shared a photo on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, December 31. In the photo, Brunson wore a cheery thong on the beach, which she paired with a tiny, oversized sweater. He stood slightly at an angle, causing a conflict in his center.
“Not preggers,” Brunson insisted in a separate Instagram Story post. “Put on a sweater [an] a strange position. Not 2026 when I got my ass.”
Brunson celebrated New Years with her friends following her divorce Kevin Jay Anik. Us Weekly confirmed in March 2025 that Brunson filed to end their three-year marriage.
According to court documents obtained by Us at the time, Brunson listed their separation date as “TBD” and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. He noted that the two had “entered into a postnuptial agreement governing the administration of their property” and called for each party to be responsible for their own legal fees.
