“I remember that I have a lot of anxiety about those two movies,” said Williams-Paisley, 54, during the Friday, October 24, episode of IHEART’ called the Podcast. “I mean, I was 19 when it was my first. It was my first major role, and Diane was like a very safe guy.”
“I talked to him about my worries. I had a lot of dreams,” he continues. “I’m a big dreamer, literally a big dreamer, but I’d have, like, nightmares and weird [things]and I think that, I said, I work on my anxiety during the night, and you will analyze my dreams too. “
William-Paisley said she thought anxiety was something Keaton was “probably dealing with,” saying the actor “didn’t have easy answers” to his questions. “I think he had people he hoped he talked about.”
Keaton died on October 11 at the age of 79. His death certificate suspected viral primary bneonia as the cause of death without underlying causes. Williams-Paisley said she initially saw a notification on her phone with Keaton’s name on it earlier that day but thought it was probably “another movie” or “something else” Keaton was working on. It wasn’t until “late in the day” that he was in social circles and saw former camps.
Williams-Paisley then shared her tribute to Keaton via Instagram.
“Diane, working with you all the time will be one of the highlights of my life. You are one of a kind, and it was a pleasure to be on your line for a while, your generosity, your talent for October 11.

“He was so kind and funny and smart, just amazing and special
The second movie, I felt like we met again and, you know, he just laughed,” Williams-Paisley said. Like click comedy, and it was a lot of fun to set up. “
She also recalled fond memories with Keaton, including when they visited the exchange and met each other while filming Father of the Bride II.
“He said, ‘I’m going to an exchange meeting this weekend. Do you want to go?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah,’ And I never, like I’ve never been,” Williams-Paisley said. “I didn’t know how to do it. She knew that, and she saw it, and it was like a hot day, and she saw it in her full Diane Keaton [look]you know, his hat, his hat and his rope. He might have been wearing gloves. “
Keaton then opened the trunk of his car to find a shopping cart and gave Williams-Paisley $5.
“He’s like, ‘go buy something. And I’ll go buy something.’ And we went with her sister.
