“I really think they’re good for you,” Sutherland explained. “I don’t know exactly what the writers kept us from but at the end of this request, it’s clear that Carl wants to marry her.” But there was also fear and despair. Like, ‘please don’t go.’ “
Anointed character status for Karl status at the moment.
“He just saw the possibility of losing her. He was on the way to getting hurt after solving this mystery – this case where Karl asked Cassandra to stay out because he thought she could throw it away,” he noted. “And dealing with his loss hurt a lot, and that’s how the disagreement went. We might be bicker, but in the end he wants to talk to him about his life.”
Based on the novels written Mr. Wright, Murder in a small town It follows a police chief named Karl Who – and with the help of others, including his girlfriend, Cassandra – investigates a mysterious murder.

“At the end of season 1, they really loved each other. They were willing to try and I think Carl had already made up his mind. But it was Cassandra and he remembered. “At the end of season 2, there was a lot of arguing, a lot of disagreements but all while talking. So that’s healthy.”
He continued: “It’s a very big conclusion that this is not going to be some fairy tale love story. But this is a real thing and this is going to be together. Now they’re going to be able to move around your space or my space. Now it really begins.”
Looking ahead to season 3, Sutherland teased what obstacle Karl and Cassandra will face next.
“The obstacle is the truth about their past. Then to get really close, secrets are sometimes there to protect others – and it meant that you are truly in love,” he shared with her We. “They get this together. But it’s about the opportunity for someone else to be there and for that to happen, so it all needs to be dealt with.”
Sutherland was excited to see where this story could go from here.
“They’re the themes of people we love, growing old and losing. Ultimately, it’s a life thing. That’s the whole point of this show – and hopefully we’re doing more,” it added. “Karl and Cassandra and the people in their lives, they’re faced with decisions. They obviously don’t go into the realm of someone who commits a crime but those themes have themes.” That’s all the intentions. “
