Jenner, 70, added that the party was “a really big deal.”
“I think it takes a lot of energy, time, resources, money, creativity, all of that,” Jenner explained. “And we used to do that – before there was all the social media and it was easy to take digital pictures, we’d have a picture perfect with the whole family and we’d put on our Christmas clothes and take these beautiful pictures and they’d get bigger and bigger as more children everyone had. And that made me so happy.”
Every year the family, incl Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner again Kylie Jennerthey get together to celebrate the holidays with their close friends and family. A lavish soiree usually features extravagant decorations and entertainment.
Khloé explained that the family will also have meetings, which not everyone attends, to help plan the event.
“Not everyone comes, and that’s fine, but if you don’t come, you don’t get to say that,” Khloé said. “So you can’t come to the third meeting and be like, I don’t like that, no, we had two meetings before and we already decided on X, Y, and Z.”
As for who pays for everything, Khloé revealed that they “all split the party costs equally.”
“These parties are so much fun and they have grown to such a large number and everyone looks forward to it every year. Our friends who have never celebrated Christmas are the love that is coming,” said Kris. “And it’s so much fun and we always dance at the end of the party, we always have a DJ, usually a game, very fun, the last time we had a party I think it was Babyface, and he did all his good Christmas music, then we had a DJ and we had the best time.”
Kris explained that the annual bash started out small but has grown exponentially since her children started inviting their friends to the party.
“When you guys get older and older, you’re all with your friends and all of a sudden there’s another hundred people, now there’s a few hundred, two to 300 people at the Christmas party,” he reflected. “I thought, ‘Okay, this is going to start spinning.’ I thought it was great fun.”
Khloé admitted that she’s not a big fan of hosting the annual event and expressed her gratitude to her mom for saving her this year.
“I don’t want strings. I don’t want so many people in my house. And this year, I’m proud of you for saving me,” he admitted. “Because they were like, ‘Kim’s house is being built, and so is Kourtney’s house.’ I don’t know what happened with Kylie why that wasn’t an option, I don’t even know what happened and you were like, ‘Let’s put it at Kendall’s.’ I was so excited because everyone was like, ‘Khloé’s house!’ Do you think I want people in my home? No. No! I don’t want the party.”
