Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Spend Christmas Together After Split

And Burruss her estranged husband, Todd Tuckerget together to celebrate the holidays as a family.

“Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!! We pray that everyone enjoys their Christmas! 🎄🎁,” the The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 49, wrote on Instagram on Thursday, December 25.

Burruss also posted a photo of herself, Tucker, 52, and their loved ones sporting festive pajamas. The group smiled for the camera as they gathered around the Christmas tree.

Burruss and Tucker share son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 6. The Xscape singer is also mother to daughter Riley, 23, who they adopted while dating. Burruss is also stepmother to Tucker’s daughter Keala, 25.

Last month, Burruss announced that she and Tucker had separated after 11 years of marriage.

“After much thought and prayer, I have made the decision to move forward with the divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus is on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and working together with love and respect,” Burruss said in a statement. Tucker then filed for custody of her and Burruss’ children. Burruss, on the other hand, asked the court to block all documents, testimony and other evidence.

Days after announcing her split from Tucker, Burruss opened up about how she’s doing.

“My life has been crazy lately,” Burruss said during the Amazon Live broadcast. “I’ll be very honest with you, I’ll be honest. Obviously, going through a divorce is not the easiest thing. Sometimes you’re cool, you move, you mix, you move, you hang out with friends. But sometimes you have your sad moments. And I’m the Taurus that I am, I like to keep those moments.”

Earlier this month, Burruss revealed that she and Tucker have plans to celebrate Christmas together amid their ongoing divorce.

“You already know I’m getting a divorce, but we decided we’re still going to do Christmas together,” Burruss shared on the December 15 episode of his Amazon Live broadcast. “Even though we have all this mess right now, we’re still going to do it for our kids together, so we’re spending Christmas in New York.”

Burruss chose to live in New York City for the holidays instead of commuting to his hometown of Atlanta for work. She is currently playing Angélique in the Broadway musical, & Juliet. The singer shared that her children are “excited” to spend Christmas in a new place.

Although Burrus is working hard, she opened up about how challenging it has been to miss her children’s milestones since they have been living in Atlanta while she is on stage.

“My daughter Blaze had her dance recital yesterday,” Burruss said. “But you did great. Mom left. Carmen left. The whole team was there and Todd was there.”
