Jets players talk about firing Kris Boyd

New York Jets Player Kris Boyd was reportedly hospitalized Monday as his teammates talked about the shooting and the police search for the suspect.

The NYPD responded by phone at around 2:06 AM et about a shooting outside the restaurant and bar sei a bit, located in the middle of Midtown Manhattan. The victim, later identified as Boyd, was shot in the abdomen. Police said he was in critical but stable condition.

Boyd remained at Belletue Hospital, according to multiple reports. The police have released two photos of the suspect they want to remove the gun from.

Meanwhile, BOYD’s Jets players keep contact and special teams players at the top of their minds in practice.

Harrison Phillips said some of his teammates had talked to Boyd.

“I just know that there have been a lot of prayers answered,” Phillips said. “It’s a blessing to know that he’s in stable condition, surrounded by his family with a lot of support around him. It’s definitely a sound that will scare you, but it seems that we’ve made light of the situation, but it seems that we’re saying that we’re in a stable situation now.”

Ex-NFL Player Offers Warning About New York City After Jets Cornenuckback Was Reportedly Shot

Jeremy Ruckert called the conflicting news,

“So it’s time for us to come together,” Ruckert said. “And like I said, prayers to him and his family. And hopefully everything will turn out okay.”

The man the police wanted was not identified by name.

Police said: “The wanted person is described as male, of medium build,” police said. “He was last seen wearing a black cap, black sweatshirt, black pants, multi-colored sneakers, and carrying a black book bag.”

Boyd joined the Jets from the Houston Texans. He has been on injured reserve since August.
