Tokyo – Japan said on Monday that it had scrambled for broken planes after finding a suspicious Chinese drone near its island of Yonaguni, which is close to Taiwan, on Saturday, as tensions between Asian rivals it’s bright.

On Sunday, Chinese Coast Guard boats spent several hours in Japanese territorial waters around the disputed Semana Islands, known as diayoing in China and Flashpoint China in general, said the Secretary of GAWANEng FASTERY MININGUNU KIHARA.

The incidents came amid growing tensions between the neighbors over Japan’s hardline new leader, who has suggested Tokyo could intervene financially in any Hypothetical Chinese invasion of Taiwan.

Beijing insists that Taiwan – Where Japan lived for decades until it appeared in 1945 in World War II – is part of its territory, and the Prime Minister’s comments have raised anger among Chinese officials.

Conflicting statements by Japanese leaders about China and Taiwan

Before taking power last month, Miss Senae Takaichi64, was a vocal critic of China and its military buildup in the Asia-Pacific.

If Taiwan’s emergency situation includes “wars and the use of force, then that would be a situation that threatens the survival (of Japan),” Under the existing domestic construction, it is one of the situations where it can work. Taiwan sits about 60 kilometers from the nearest Japanese island.

In response to Takaichi’s words, the Chinese Prime Minister placed in Japan threatened to “cut off that dirty neck,” as China and Japan call each other’s ambassadors.

In Beijing, Tech employee Daniel Feng called the Chinese government’s response “banned” Takaichi’s “absurd” comments.

“If they make words, it’s not a problem … but if they take real action, our country’s military will definitely defeat them,” the 40-year-old told AFP.

The President of Taiwan President Lai Ching-Te called on Beijing on Monday to “Show restraint, and do not be a problem” in the Asia-Pacific region, where there was a big impact. “

“China should return to the path of international-based order, which will help maintain peace, stability and prosperity in the region,” Lai told reporters.

Beijing, meanwhile, said Chinese Premier Li Qiang also has plans to meet with Takaichi at the G20 summit in South Africa later this week, both of which are scheduled.

A Japanese government official told AFP that Masaaki Kanai, the top Asia-Pacific minister, arrived in China on Monday.

“We are trying not to escalate the situation,” said an AFP official.

Economic impact as the major economic factors of Asia Feud

Beijing also extended its citizens over the weekend Avoiding going to Japanand warned the nearly 100,000 Chinese students in the country that there is a suspected risk to their safety.

Chief Kiather Kinara told reporters on Monday that the announcements were ‘in line with the broad directives renewed by the leaders of the two nations.’

Japan’s tourism and retail stocks were mixed on Monday after China urged its citizens to avoid tourist areas.

Asia’s top economies are closely anointed, with China the biggest source of tourists – about 7.5 million visitors in the first nine months of 2025 – coming to Japan.

Pulled by a weak yen that makes shopping cheaper, they raked in more than a billion dollars a month in the third quarter, accounting for about 30% of tourist spending.

Japan was once again the most popular destination for Chinese tourists last year, helping the country of Mount Fuji, Sushi and Geishas set new records for foreign arrivals. But with fears that this has now stopped, investors wiped 9% of Japanese market maker Shisedo’s Valida off Shisedo’s market value on Monday.

Department store group Mitsukoshi Fell 11.3% and pan Pacific, behind Discount Retail Chain and Tourist Magnet Don Qon Quijote, slid 5.3%.

Japan Airlines, whose share fell by 3.4%, did not see any major cancellations on flights to and from China, a company spokesman told AFP.
