Israel says it decides which foreign forces can enter Gaza; Hamas is increasing the Government’s search

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that Israel would decide which foreign country will allow it to be part of the forces organized around the world by US President Donald Trump’s Plan.

It remains unclear whether the Arabs and other countries will be ready to deploy troops, in part given the refusal of Palestinian fighters to be called up by the plan, and Israel has expressed concerns about the force structure.

When the Trump administration decided to send US troops to the Gaza Strip, it has been talking to Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and Azerbaijan to contribute to various forces.

“We have managed our security, and we have made it clear that the Israeli forces are not acceptable to us, and this is the way we work and we will continue to work,” Netanyahu said.

“It’s true, this is acceptable in the United States, as the most senior representatives have expressed in recent days,” he told his cabinet session.

The US has sent two top advisers and the Vice President to the Middle East as it designs to hold a sharp edge between Israel and Hamas.

Last week, Netanyahu indicated that he would be opposed to any role in Turkish security measures in Gaza. The strained Turkey-Turkey relations have been at an all-time high during the Gaza War, with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan at the helm of a major Palestinian campaign.

Israel, which blockaded Gaza for two years to regain its strength and fight the war against Hamas after the attack on a high-level Palestinian group on October 7, 2023, continues to control all access to the territory.

Hamas increases search warrants

Hamas has stepped up its search for dead bodies in the Gaza Strip, the group said on Sunday, a day after Egypt sent a team of experts and heavy equipment to help find them.

Under the fire that is the US – which started on Oct. 10, Hamas is expected to return the remains of all Israeli hostages as soon as possible. Israel agreed to return 15 Palestinian bodies each.

Hamas returned the remains of the 15 hostages but did not hand over any for five days. Israel returned the bodies of 195 Palestinians, many of them unidentified.

The Gaza Health Ministry said on Thursday that Israel had recovered 30 bodies of Palestinians during the war, taking the total number of bodies it had recovered from 120. Experts say they show signs of physical abuse.

More complex measures lie under the program of tearful attacks, including the disruption of Hamas and the control of the Fambine-Strinen war in Gaza, where the UN and Tobane continue to promote humanitarian aid.

International media outlets have been banned from Gaza in addition to visiting Israeli troops, and Israel on Sunday said that has not changed.

The head of Hamas in Gaza, Khalil Al-Hayya, said the group had begun searching new locations for the bodies of the remaining 13 hostages, according to comments the group shared on Sunday.

It was a sombre day in Israel as more funerals took place for other hostages who were returned to Gaza earlier this week. Israel wants Hamas to return the bodies of the 19 hostages, and Hamas says it needs heavy equipment to reach them. In total, the bodies of nine hostages were returned.

Trump warned Saturday that he was “watching very closely” to ensure that Hamas returns more bodies in the next 48 hours. “Some bodies are difficult to reach, but others can return now, for some reason,” they wrote on social media.

Hamas also said that recovery efforts continue to face major challenges due to the massive destruction.

An Egyptian team with equipment including a passenger and bulldozers entered Gaza on Saturday as part of efforts by lawyers to end the release, two Egyptian officials said. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.

Hamas alleges violations after Israel’s presence

Netanyahu defended against military action after Israeli forces struck the Central Nubeirat refugee camp in Gaza late Saturday, according to Al-Awda Hospital, which received the injured.

The military said it targeted a cemetery belonging to the Palestinian jihadist group, which was planning to attack the army. Islamic Jihad, the second largest militant group in Gaza, has denied the allegations.

Hamas called the strike a “flagrant violation” of the ceasefire and accused Netanyahu of trying to undermine US efforts to end the war.

“It is true, we also reduce the risks as they are done, before they are done, as we did yesterday in the Gaza Strip,” Netanyahu said at the beginning of his weekly Cabinet meeting.

Netanyahu reiterated that Israel remained in charge of its own security, after allegations last week that the Trump administration was setting standards for Israel’s response to security concerns in Gaza. President JD vence denied any such speculation during his visit.

Israel also targeted nuseirat on Oct. 19, after the military accused the army of killing two soldiers. Israel that day launched a series of strikes across Gaza, killing at least 36 Palestinians, including women and children, according to local health authorities. It was the biggest challenge in the firefighting.

More than 68,500 Palestinians have been killed after two years of war, according to Gaza’s health ministry. Israel has denied the figure without providing a quantity.
