How Hollywood ruined the best sci-fi of the 80s by being too good.

Hollywood is full of studio legends who are heavily involved in the film’s production, either forcing a hand-picked role, adding a giant spider, or, in the case of Joe Dante’s 1987 classic Interior spacepoor marketing decisions.
