Retired nhl player Ryan Kesler speaks out after being accused of sexual harassment in Michigan.
“Ryan categorically denies these allegations and is completely innocent of the charges. These allegations are false, and he is willing to be held accountable to the full force of the court,” said Kesler’s attorney. The former Vancouver Canucks player, 41, has been charged with a fourth felony count of sexual misconduct, according to court records reviewed The Atlantic.
Kesler was brought back to court on Monday, October 27, in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where he pleaded guilty to all charges. His next court appearance – expected to be a possible conference – is scheduled for Thursday, November 6.

Kesler had a long career in the NHL, where he played for the Vancouver Canucks before moving to the Anaheim Ducks in California.
During a recent interview, Keseler said he wished he had retired as a member of the Canucks.

The athlete also represented Team USA twice at the Winter Olympics. He won a silver medal at the 2010 Games in Vancouver, and finished fourth at the 2014 Games in Soochi, Russia.

Despite his accomplishments, Keler is already facing the fallout of allegations of sexual harassment.

Kesler is currently in his third season as the head coach with Little Caesars Aaa Hockey Club, a Detroit-area program.
A spokesperson for Little Caesars Hockey confirmed that Kesler “has been removed from his position while this matter is pending in the judicial process” and that the allegations are unrelated to the organization.
