Fire Nation Finds Person Responsible for Vince’s Death, Mocks Arrest

I Land of Fire The season 4 midseason finale comes close to arresting the person responsible for Vince’s death.

In Us WeeklyAn exclusive first look at the Friday, December 19, episode of CBS’ hit series, Sharon (Diane Farr) visits Bode (Max Thieriot) to tell him that Landon (Josh McDermitt) is being questioned about his involvement in the fire that caused Vince (Billy Burke) death.

“They have to do their due diligence,” Bode tells Sharon about Landon’s behavior toward stepson Tyler (Conor Sherry). “He’s flexible.”

Sharon urges Bode not to worry as they prepare for justice. Season 3, which wrapped earlier this year, ended on a cliffhanger with Vince and Sharon’s lives on hold. The news broke hours after it was last broadcast in April that budget cuts led to Burke, 58, and Stephanie Arcilahe goes out. (Burke has yet to comment on his departure.)

“I didn’t know when. But at the same time, I know that this is the kind of field I’m in, and I’ve accepted the flow of release and acceptance throughout my journey and I know that when one door closes, another one always opens,” Arcila, 35, told us exclusively in April. “We have a beautiful eternal door of desires revolving around what we love in life. I believe that when we resist that, sometimes it prevents us from achieving other things that we love.”

A runner Tia Napolitanoon the other hand, he defended the decision.

“It’s a fire show. Anyone can go at any time,” he said Us in October. “But in terms of losing people, we’re adding some really fun characters. A revolving door of people from Sharon’s past and some exciting new faces to bring conflict and secrets and twists.”

Napolitano teased how the system will have to balance “really saving” while still walking the “fine line” of paying taxes on losses.

“What we’ve done is really thread the needle of honor – especially Vince – because Gabriella is gone, but she’s gone on to a happy and successful life. She’s still out. But we’re really going this route to honor Vince while also finding hope quickly,” he noted. “Looking ahead, the whole season is rising from the ashes and recovering.”

Napolitano continued: “How do you recover from something like this?

Farr, 56, also spoke to him Us about the new normal, he explained in November, “I found out during the summer. None of us knew what was going on. Billy, Jeff and I went into the fire and we didn’t have any other information.”

The most difficult exit for Farr to face was Burke, who played her on-screen husband.

“It was very clear that the producers or the writers were going to make some changes. It was Billy who told us all. He told the cast that he wasn’t coming back – it was very sad,” he recalls. “Everyone was upset and I felt like I was taking part of myself back because they were so tied up.”
